Suddenly There Are Three (Bailey and Artemis)

Chapter 303

Chapter 303

“Hmm?” Shirley stared at Zoey in confusion. “Ms. Stone is pestering your brother? What's going on,

Zoey?”

“She's just a little b*tch who overestimates herself. Just like her mentor, she throws herself at every

decent guy she comes across. Heh... Watch how I tear her a new one!” Zoey replied with a mocking

grin.

She then turned toward her servant and asked, “Where are they now?”

“Outside the mansion. Mr. Zeke's convoy had just arrived at the front gate when Ms. Stone confronted

him.”

“That b*tch!” Zoey muttered under her breath as she dragged Shirley toward the garden's exit.

“Could you at least tell me what's going on, Zoey? I don't know what I'm supposed to do!”

Zoey replied, “Someone is about to steal your man.”

Sure enough, saying that worked like a charm as the look on Shirley's face changed instantly.

Outside the Shurmer residence, Zeke stared helplessly at Juliana and said with a sigh, “Ms. Juliana,

you're still too young to understand love. There are plenty of better guys out there, so why don't you go

after someone else instead? Why does it have to be me? Do you realize that your actions are causing

me a lot of problems?”

Juliana flashed him a wide grin. “It's fine. I don't mind being with you all day, every day! As for my age,

I'm twenty-two this year! It's the perfect age to get married!”

“So you think you can just go around stealing someone else's fiancé? Have you no shame, Ms.

Stone?” Zoey asked in a sarcastic and mocking tone as she stepped out of the garden.

Zeke frowned when he heard that. His lips moved slightly, but he held his tongue when he recalled

something and slowly took a few steps back.

Juliana turned around and stared at Zoey before shifting her gaze toward Shirley, who looked really

elegant and graceful in her gown.

Before Juliana could say anything, Shirley stepped forward and greeted her with a friendly smile, “Ms.

Juliana, was it? You sure are a lively young lady! You strike me as the type who would be having a

stress-free relationship in college or something. I hear you're Snowflake's disciple. You wouldn't do

something as uncouth as stealing someone else's fiancé, would you?”

Threatening me with my mentor's reputation right off the bat? What a cunning woman!

“You really are Zeke's fiancée?”

Without saying anything in response, Shirley simply flashed her a smile and shifted her gaze toward

Zeke.

She figured he had invited her to Hallsbay to get rid of persistent women like Juliana, so she wasn't

afraid of him denying her statement.

After a brief moment of silence, Zeke walked up to Shirley and said in a gentle voice, “Our engagement

is no secret. I know the plans haven't been made, but it won't change the fact that we're getting

married. There's no need to hide it.”

Shirley reached out and wrapped her arm around his as she scolded him, “Good thing I came over to

Hallsbay in time, then. You'd be wasting this young lady's time if you didn't tell her the truth. I'm just

glad we got all that out of the way.”

She then flashed Juliana a smile as she continued, “Since you're related to my cousin-in-law, Wendy,

I'll invite you to our wedding!”

The look on Juliana's face changed instantly. “Is this true? Is she really your fiancée?” she asked while

glaring at Zeke.

Zeke simply shot her a glance and said calmly, “I'll be sure to send you a wedding invitation.”

He then turned around and made his way into the garden.

Shirley smiled and winked at Zoey before entering the house with him.

Zoey felt incredibly satisfied when she saw the look of despair on Juliana's face.

I can use this opportunity to turn her and Bailey against each other!

With that in mind, she said, “Ms. Stone, do you know why my future sister-in-law is here in Hallsbay? I'll

let you in on a little secret. It's actually because of that precious mentor of yours! My brother didn't want

to give you such a rude awakening, but Bailey kept pressuring him to do so. Why don't you confront her

about it and see what she has to say?”

Juliana looked up at her with disbelief written all over her face. “W-What did you say? Master was the

one who got her to come to Hallsbay?”

Zoey reached out and patted her on the cheek as she replied, “It's because you're from the Hoffman

family. Bailey is afraid that your parents will go after her if you marry a foreigner. That's why she chose

to sacrifice you, silly girl. Your mentor sacrificed you to protect herself! Do you really want someone like

her as your mentor?”

“No... Master always has my best interests in mind! She's not like that! You're lying!” Juliana yelled at

the top of her lungs as she took a few steps back.

Zoey jabbed at her chest. “Heh... Look at you, worshipping a backstabbing mentor like a fool! Are you

hurting here, silly girl?”

Noticing Juliana's face rapidly turning pale, Zoey added, “Given what Bailey is capable of, she could

definitely help you out even if you married a foreigner. However, she chose to sacrifice you anyway. It's

obvious that she doesn't want to get on the Hoffman family's bad side because of you.”

“No... That's not true...”

Meanwhile, in a study in Shelbert Condominium, Zephyr was sitting on the floor with a copy of the DNA

paternity test results he had just printed.

Unable to stand his behavior any longer, Zayron walked up to him and snatched the document out of

his hand.

After reading through the results, which came back positive, Zayron burst out laughing and said, “Pfft!

And here I thought it was something serious! So, your father ends up becoming your uncle while your

uncle turns out to be your actual father. Big deal! I used to think Edmund was my father. Later on, I

thought it was Simon, but it turned out to be freaking Ratemis! I was upset at first, but I eventually came

to accept it as reality. We don't get to pick our fathers, so we have to just accept who we get. Quit

acting all pitiful and just deal with it!”

“Aunt Veronique has already extracted the sperm from his body and is preparing to take me away from

Hallsbay. What should I do, Zayron? I don't want to just leave like this! I want to live with my parents!”

Zephyr mumbled with his head held low.

Zayron gave it some thought and said with a grin, “That's easy. All you have to do is steal your mom's

household registry while I steal Justin's. After that, we'll bring it to City Hall and get them a marriage

certificate!”

Meanwhile, in a private room on the second floor of a coffee shop, Sylvester frowned deeply as he

glared at the woman sitting before him. “You're Rainie's manager?” This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

“Yes, that's right. I asked to see you because there's something I urgently need your help with,” Angie

replied with a nod.

Sylvester waved nonchalantly at her. “I don't run a charity organization. You should go to one instead.”

“What if I told you this has something to do with Rainie? Would you still tell me to leave, Mr. Hollett?”

Sylvester paused and squinted at her as he said, “Don't lie to me. I have men tailing Rainie at all times,

so I'll be the first to know if anything happens to her. I don't need you reminding me of such things.”

“No, that's not what I meant. Fashionista is about to kick Rainie out.”
