In the moonlit night, Alpha Kilian observed the unfamiliar expression etched on Donna’s face earlier. It sent a shiver down his spine, a feeling he couldn’t quite explain. His gaze instinctively fell upon Nelly, who appeared to have noticed the same unsettling look, yet she chose to feign ignorance.
Nelly, always the passive observer, preferred turning a blind eye to their conflicts as long as they didn’t cause too much havoc. She believed in their ability to handle their own problems without interference.
Troubles were bound to arise in a pack with three children. Intervening every time would not only exhaust him, but it would also breed resentment among the kids. He trusted them to resolve their own issues.
As they entered, the trio concealed their anger, acting as if nothing had transpired. Donna’s disposition transformed, her demeanor portraying innocence.
“Greetings, Great-grandpa! Mr. Handsome!” she greeted with a beaming smile.
Alpha King Larry’s spirits lifted as he laid his eyes upon the children, unable to resist grinning.
“My little darling, I’ve heard you’re destined for stardom. Is that true?” Alpha King Larry inquired, his smile unwavering.
“It’s not as glamorous as it sounds. Sharon merely suggested I try out for a movie she thinks I’d be perfect for. I want to give it a shot and see if it suits me,” Donna explained.
“Ah, so you’re not planning to tread the path for long-term?” Alpha King Larry pondered.
“I haven’t made up my mind yet,” Donna replied, glancing intentionally at Tony and Ben. Her message was clear to them.
The two boys, seemingly unaffected, maintained their composure without even raising their heads. They dismissed the situation, disguising their involvement.
Amidst his contemplation, Alpha King Larry nodded. “That’s understandable. I’ll support you no matter what path you choose. Follow your dreams, and I’ll always have your back.”
“Thank you, Great-grandpa! You’re the best!” Donna exclaimed, overwhelmed with gratitude.
Who could resist Donna’s sweet demeanor? The room collectively melted at her words.
Meanwhile, Alpha Kilian shifted his attention to Donna and spoke, his obsidian-black eyes boring into her. “Don’t let this opportunity hinder your studies, even though you’re venturing into acting. I’ll arrange for private tutoring.”
Donna appeared troubled. “Mr. Handsome… that won’t be necessary.”
Tony and Ben couldn’t resist snickering at her response, prompting a fierce glare from Donna.
Sensing something amiss, Alpha Kilian turned towards her. “Why not?”
“I’ve already mastered everything they teach in elementary school,” she disclosed.

Alpha King Larry, equally astounded, gawked at her. “Y-You’ve mastered it all?”
With caution, Donna simply nodded. “Yes, it’s not as challenging as it seems. I only need to read through it once to understand.”
Alpha King Larry regained his composure. So that’s it. The Morris family’s exceptional genes!
Alpha Kilian observed Donna with his penetrating gaze, reminding himself of his own childhood. He possessed eidetic memory and effortlessly grasped concepts with minimal effort. By elementary school, he had already conquered everything from middle and high school. He hadn’t expected such hereditary traits. Donna was truly his daughter, and perhaps Tony and Ben shared the same capabilities.
Though they resembled ordinary children, their speech and behavior often transcended their age. They possessed an indescribable aura, an extraordinary essence.
Especially Tony. The memory of him gripping that knife, his eyes brimming with anger and the glimmer of bloodlust, remained etched in Alpha Kilian’s mind. He had thought he averted disaster, yet he now realized he had underestimated Tony. In the end, they shared the same blood, and Alpha Kilian knew all too well the depths of his own darkness.
Alpha Kilian pondered deeply, his lips curving into a smile as he tranquilly observed Donna. “All right, then. I won’t arrange a private tutor for you.”
Donna sighed in relief. “Thank you, Mr. Handsome.”
Alpha Kilian’s gaze shifted to Tony and Ben, his smile masking his piercing scrutiny.
The boys met his gaze, feigning calmness, refusing to acknowledge any connection or involvement.
As long as no one discovered their secret, there were things they couldn’t admit. They would maintain their innocent smiles. Smiles were their shield.
Nelly, on the other hand, remained unperturbed. Spending time together would reveal the children’s innate and extraordinary talents. There was no need to hide, especially since all they had shown so far was above-average intelligence. What worried her extended far beyond that.
Although Alpha Wade pretended to have no connection to the situation, he couldn’t suppress his jumble of emotions. First, it was his son, then Nelly. It wasn’t limited to school but extended to complex matters like computers. It seemed they absorbed knowledge without being taught. The exceptional genes within their family made nothing surprising. However, they didn’t realize the triplets possessed capabilities far beyond what they had inherited.
During the meal, each person immersed themselves in their own thoughts.
The three children sat together in the backseat on the journey home, unable to discuss the matter openly. So, they resorted to texting each other.
Ben: Why do I feel like Daddy suspects something? He looks at us with a strange gaze!
Tony: It’s inevitable. If there’s even the slightest clue, he’ll dig deeper and let his imagination run wild. Remember, we are his children, his flesh and blood. It shouldn’t be surprising.
Ben: So, you mean he knows…
Tony: Not necessarily. As long as we don’t accidentally expose ourselves, we can firmly deny everything.
Donna had initially refused to engage in their conversation, but after continuous mentions in the group chat, she couldn’t resist responding.
Donna: This secret won’t stay hidden much longer. Maybe it’s better if he finds out earlier. What’s the worst that could happen? He won’t disown us, after all.
Tony: No way! Daddy is still deeply engaged with Darknetz. Until we find a solid solution, we can’t let him discover anything. We can’t afford to alert either party.
Donna: What if he stumbles upon it?
Tony: We’d be in deep trouble then. Caught between Darknetz and Daddy, we’d have to sacrifice one.
Donna frowned. Darknetz was their venture for the future, not just their desire, but it also involved intriguing “friends.” However, Alpha Kilian was family, and severing ties wasn’t a decision to be made lightly.
She typed resolutely: Got it. I won’t say a word. Don’t worry.
The relief washed over Tony and Ben upon reading her commitment. They had genuinely feared she might blurt out everything in a moment of panic.
