He would never spend three times the price to acquire shares. If he harbored such intentions, he would have acted long ago. Why wait until now when we are at odds?”

“While that may be true, who else could it be but him? The culprit is clearly targeting you,” Fabian insisted.

Alpha Kilian’s eyes narrowed, a glint of ice in his gaze. “Fabian…”

“Go and negotiate the acquisition of their shares as well. If they offer three times the price, we will offer five times the price. Additionally, inquire if any major shareholders are willing to sell a portion of their shares. Let them dictate the price,” Alpha Kilian ordered.

“Do as I’ve commanded!” Alpha Kilian interrupted firmly.

Fabian pondered for a moment before nodding. “Very well. I understand.”

“In addition, what progress has been made regarding Alpha Zachary?” Alpha Kilian inquired.

“He has not taken action, merely visiting the hospital to see his mother. He also visited Desmond once. Rumor has it that they had a heated argument, and Desmond even lost his temper while in prison,” Fabian reported.

Following the order, Fabian nodded. “Understood.” With that, he departed from the office.

“Not at all! We simply believe this is the best path for you!” Ben asserted. However, the more they attempted to persuade her, the more suspicious Donna became.

“You need not lie to me. Remember, we are triplets. We possess a telepathic connection,” she huffed. “Hah! Trying to keep secrets from me is futile!”

Both Tony and Ben fell silent.

Exchanging a glance, Tony finally admitted, “Indeed, we hope that you remain by Nelly’s side. Although this job is arduous, at least it is not dangerous.”

Frowning, Donna shifted her gaze to Ben. “And what about you, Ben?”

“While I share the same hope, I fully respect your decision,” Ben affirmed. “You are wise beyond your years, Ben!” Donna growled in displeasure.

Upon hearing this, Tony remained silent.

“The filming for this movie will last only two months. I am merely testing the waters. After that, I will decide how to proceed,” Donna announced. In that moment, her sweet, adorable, docile demeanor vanished, replaced by an expression of determination and persistence.

She appeared as a different person entirely.

Despite this, Tony and Ben knew that this was the real Donna.

As if fearful of her anger, they exchanged a glimmer of understanding before falling silent.
