Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

As the moon hung high in the sky, casting an eerie glow over the hospital, Alpha Kilian emerged from the building. Fabian’s sleek black car, a vehicle befitting their status, awaited him at the entrance.

Alpha Kilian, the formidable Alpha, strode with confidence, shrouded in an all-black ensemble that merged seamlessly with the darkness.

Fabian, ever loyal, exited the car upon spotting Alpha Kilian’s arrival. He hurriedly opened the door for his leader, then settled back into the vehicle as Alpha Kilian took his place inside.

Alpha Kilian’s visage still bore the remnants of fatigue, a paleness clinging to his features.

“Alpha Morris, is it wise for you to venture out like this?” Fabian voiced his concern.

Alpha Kilian met Fabian’s gaze, his eyes flickering with defiance. “Can you manage without me?” he retorted.

Fabian fell silent, his focus shifting to the road ahead as he started the car engine.

Seated in the back of the vehicle, Alpha Kilian’s expression grew solemn. “How is he faring now?” he inquired.

“Thankfully, he was discovered in time. He should recover,” Fabian replied. “However, there’s a chance he may attempt to take his own life again. Such a ruthless individual. Failing to exact his revenge, he only causes a commotion. Dave remains unfazed by it all.”

Whether their adversary lived or died held little consequence to Alpha Kilian. What mattered most was the answer to the question burning within him.

After a forty-minute journey, they arrived at a designated hospital. A small contingent of police officers stood guard at the entrance.

Having informed Zeke of their arrival beforehand, Alpha Kilian and Fabian encountered no obstacles. They entered the empty ward, which consisted solely of a bed and a simple table. A surveillance camera kept a watchful eye over the solitary bed.

Gary lay upon the mattress, his face marred by bruises and swelling. His unkempt hair remained as disheveled as ever, lending him an air of pitifulness. Yet, he no longer exuded the same malevolence as that fateful day. Instead, he appeared decidedly feeble.

Alpha Kilian approached the side of Gary’s bed, his gaze cold and piercing.

Sensing a presence after a prolonged silence, Gary’s eyes fluttered open in curiosity. Upon spotting Alpha Kilian standing before him, he grew apprehensive.

“You!” Gary strained against his restraints, the clanging of the shackles echoing within the room.

Alpha Kilian regarded him with disdain, as though he were a pitiful dog. A smirk danced upon his lips.

Provoked by Alpha Kilian’s disdainful gaze, Gary’s eyes widened. “Alpha Kilian, I will never forgive you, even in death.”

“Do you believe in ghosts?” Alpha Kilian inquired, his voice a hoarse and provocative whisper.

Gary remained silent, his unwavering stare aimed at his tormentor. Indeed, he did not believe in ghosts; it was merely a figure of speech he used to convey his boundless hatred.

“If you truly believe in ghosts, then by all means, haunt me!” Alpha Kilian’s declaration dripped with mockery, his voice laden with a barely contained ferocity.

Gary struggled against his restraints, yearning to rush at Alpha Kilian and end him. His eyes burned with a murderous intent.

Alpha Kilian maintained his steady gaze, speaking calmly. “I’ve come to make a deal with you.”

Gary suddenly fell silent, scoffing at Alpha Kilian’s words. “A deal? Forget it. I won’t give you the satisfaction.”

“Reconsider before you dismiss me so hastily. You may yet change your mind,” Alpha Kilian stated, his tone nonchalant.Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Gary regarded him with disdain, his distaste etched upon his face.

“It is quite simple. Answer a few questions,” Alpha Kilian continued.

Gary remained silent.
