Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Alpha Kilian idly tinkered with his phone, then casually remarked, “Dave will only serve a few years for his crimes. If he behaves, he may even be released early. So, think, what do you believe would happen to him if he were the one who instructed you?” His gaze bored into Gary’s, their eyes locking as if engaged in a conversation of their own.

Rage coursed through Gary’s veins, his eyes widening in fury. “This has nothing to do with him! He had no knowledge of my plans for vengeance!”

“If your intentions were to avenge him, why did you not come to me instead of Nelly?” Alpha Kilian queried unexpectedly.

Gary understood Alpha Kilian’s ploy, therefore choosing to remain silent when faced with this crucial question.

“Wish to know? Dream on!” Though he couldn’t exact revenge on Nelly, he had inadvertently caused Alpha Kilian to pay the price, a fact that secretly delighted him.

Alpha Kilian raised an eyebrow, his voice taking on a frosty edge. “Very well. Your decision not to disclose is accepted.” Glancing at the surveillance camera, he leaned in closer to Gary’s ear, his words meant for his ears alone. “You may have failed to avenge Dave, but the consequences of your actions shall be borne by him. I swear, one day, he will suffer a fate far worse than death. You know full well that I am capable of such a thing!”Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

With a polite smile, Alpha Kilian rose from his seat and departed, leaving Gary to contemplate his words.

As Gary’s gaze lingered on Alpha Kilian’s retreating form, his shoulders heaved with pent-up emotion.

While everyone deemed Dave a villain, he remained Gary’s closest kin.

Amidst the disdain he faced, it was Dave who stood by his side, unwavering in his support.

Dave had given him a glimmer of hope, reminding him that he could still find purpose amidst the darkness.

His sole desire was to avenge his brother, lest he burden him further.

Just as Alpha Kilian prepared to exit the ward, Gary’s restraint snapped. “I will tell you.”

Alpha Kilian smirked, his back turned towards Gary. It seemed he had anticipated this turn of events.

As their eyes met, Gary mustered his courage.

Helplessness washed over Gary’s contorted features as he confessed, “I will tell you. But you must promise to spare my brother. He is innocent in all of this. It was my doing!”

Alpha Kilian regarded him with a chilling gaze. “Why did you seek Nelly’s aid?”

Gary pondered for a lengthy silence before finally answering, his words deliberate. “When my brother was captured, I sought answers. News implicated him in a conflict with Morris Corporation. Initially, I intended to confront you. However, upon arriving at Morris Corporation, I encountered a woman who claimed Nelly Jackson was the culprit, as my brother had intended to-” Gary’s voice trailed off abruptly.

“Who is this woman?” Alpha Kilian’s dark eyes narrowed.

“I do not know her name, nor did I inquire,” Gary admitted.

“What about during your time in the hospital? Have you crossed paths with her before?”

After much contemplation, Gary responded, “Yes.”

Alpha Kilian retrieved his phone, displaying a photograph for Gary’s inspection. “Is this her?”

Gary scrutinized the photo, remaining silent.

“I ask again. Is this her?”

Gary clenched his fist, finally yielding after a prolonged moment. “It is her.”

Alpha Kilian pocketed his phone, rising from his seat as he made his way to the exit.
