Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

After Lara left and before Alpha Kilian could speak, Alpha Wade growled in a deep, rumbling voice, “Nelly, let’s go.”

Nelly obediently nodded.

“Where are you going?” Alpha King Larry immediately demanded, his eyes flashing with a mix of concern and curiosity.

Alpha Wade glanced briefly at Alpha King Larry, then turned his attention to Alpha Kilian, who lay on the bed, looking weak and tired. With a hint of irritation in his voice, Alpha Wade replied, “Back to the ward and away from all this chaos. We need to keep our eyes off this mess.” He extended his hands toward the two children. “Donna, Ben, come with me.”

Donna and Ben understood the urgency in Alpha Wade’s voice, and without hesitation, they reached out and grasped his hands.

“Bye, Great-grandpa. Bye, Mr. Handsome! We’re leaving now,” Donna said, her voice filled with a mix of reluctance and resignation.

“Bye-bye!” Alpha King Larry couldn’t help but feel a pang of longing in his heart.

“I will come visit you!” Alpha Kilian promised Donna and Ben, his voice filled with warmth and love.

Donna nodded back at him, a sweet smile touching her lips in response.

Alpha King Larry glared at Alpha Wade, his frustration evident. Why must this man separate them? Why couldn’t they all stay together?

Hmph! If you want to leave, then leave! But I won’t stand for this separation!

As soon as the door closed, Alpha King Larry’s face fell, his disappointment written all over it.

He turned his head to look at Alpha Kilian on the bed, his eyes filled with a mixture of resentment and frustration.

“You brat-”

“I know what you’re about to say!” Alpha Kilian interrupted, cutting off Alpha King Larry before he could voice his thoughts. “You just want to scold me, don’t you, Grandpa? You already have great-grandchildren. What more do you want from me?”

Alpha King Larry sat down angrily, his frustration turning him into a sulking child. “So what? I can’t even touch them. It breaks my heart! I want to take them out and show them off to the world, but I can’t!”

Alpha King Larry had reached his limit when it came to Alpha Wade. There seemed to be nothing he could do to change the situation.

After years of friendship, all he had left was disappointment.

Alpha Kilian smiled gently and said, “Grandpa, don’t worry. It’s only a matter of time.”

“What do you mean?” Alpha King Larry looked at him, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

“I remember you and Old Mr. Jackson bought a manor together, right?” Alpha Kilian reminded him.

Alpha King Larry nodded, a flicker of recognition crossing his face. “Yeah, we did. What about it? We bought it for our retirement.”

A mischievous grin played on Alpha Kilian’s lips. “Think about it, Grandpa. The time for retirement is approaching. When that day comes, both of you can live in the manor, and the children will always be by your side. You won’t have to worry about being separated anymore!”

Alpha King Larry considered Alpha Kilian’s words, realizing the logic behind them. “But Alpha Wade is living with Nelly. He won’t agree to move to the manor!”

“They are currently renting the house they live in,” Alpha Kilian explained.

Alpha King Larry looked at him, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

“When the time comes, hand over the manor to Old Mr. Jackson, and let them move in. Then, you can move in as well, and finally have what you want.”

“But will Alpha Wade agree to that?” Alpha King Larry voiced his concern.

“Don’t worry. Once you’re there, he can’t just chase you out, right?” Alpha Kilian reassured him.

Alpha King Larry pondered for a moment, then said, “Wouldn’t that be a little shameless?”

“Well, do you want your great-grandchildren or not?” Alpha Kilian challenged him.

The thought of his great-grandchildren made Alpha King Larry realize that being shameless was a small price to pay.

“Of course I do!”

Alpha Kilian smirked triumphantly. “Then it’s settled. It’s just a matter of strategy now.”

Alpha King Larry couldn’t help but feel skeptical. What Alpha Kilian said made sense, but…

He narrowed his eyes and looked at Alpha Kilian. “Hey, it’s not that simple, right? Are you using me?”

“What? No! I just want you to be happy!” Alpha Kilian exclaimed, feigning innocence.

Hmph! As if I’ll believe that!

However, Alpha King Larry seemed to understand Alpha Kilian’s true intentions.

“If you want to win Nelly back, why make things so complicated? Isn’t it better to get straight to the point?” Alpha King Larry suggested.

Alpha Kilian immediately refuted, “Who said anything about wanting her back?”

With Nelly’s strong-willed nature, Alpha Kilian knew he couldn’t win her back without putting in a certain amount of effort.

“Oh, you don’t?” Alpha King Larry raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his voice.

“No!” Alpha Kilian shifted his gaze away, unable to meet Alpha King Larry’s eyes.

“No? Then why did you get so grievously hurt for her? Why did you stab yourself twice?” Alpha King Larry prodded, poking at the wound, his voice filled with worry and frustration at the memory.

Alpha Kilian winced in pain and mumbled, “I didn’t think much of it at the time.”

“Of course you didn’t! I almost lost a grandson!” Alpha King Larry exclaimed, his voice laced with both relief and anger.

Alpha Kilian looked guiltily at his grandfather. “Grandpa, I’m sorry. But don’t worry, it won’t happen again. I won’t put you through that pain again.”

Alpha King Larry looked at him, a bittersweet smile tugging at his lips. “You remind me so much of your father back then.”

Alpha Kilian fell silent, the memories of his father flooding his mind.

Putting aside the melancholy thoughts, Alpha King Larry locked eyes with Alpha Kilian and said, “Alpha Kilian, in life, there will be something or someone more important than your own life. I won’t stop you from pursuing what you want, but this time, think it through carefully. Nelly is not someone who forgives easily. She won’t easily let you back into her life after you’ve disappointed her. If you do anything foolish again, you might push her away for good.”

“I understand.” Alpha Kilian nodded solemnly, the weight of his mistakes heavy on his shoulders.

“Good. As long as you know what you’re doing,” Alpha King Larry said, a mixture of worry and hope in his voice.

Alpha Kilian pressed his lips together, his eyes shining with determination. The answer to who or what was more important than his own life was clear.

“You should rest now, Grandpa. I’ll take my leave,” Alpha King Larry stood up, his tone softer.

“You’re going home so early?” Alpha Kilian asked, surprised by his grandfather’s sudden departure.

“Home? No, I’m going to the ward next door to visit my great-grandchildren!” Alpha King Larry declared, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Alpha Kilian was left speechless, a mix of disbelief and amusement flooding his expression.

“You were right. I need to be a little more shameless,” Alpha King Larry said with a smirk, before walking towards the door.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

However, just as he was about to leave, Alpha King Larry paused and turned back to Alpha Kilian. “By the way, about Th-“
