Chapter 1897
"An angel?" Dazed, Adie forced himself to open his eyes.
He saw light pouring in from the blocked entrance, and to his surprise, the person he had been longing for stood there.
"Mommy...
The angel is Mommy!" Adie's eyes widened in delight, and he waved at Renee excitedly.
At that moment, Renee had dug through the entrance and was completely exhausted, but her energy seemed to come back when she saw Stefan and Adie.
"Thank God you're here, Adie!" Renee cried out in relief, and crawled into the cave.
She met Stefan's gaze and smiled tearfully.
"You're here too.
So, you're not that cruel after all." Initially, she had been disappointed because she thought Stefan had run off with Briar, but when she realized he had actually braved the hurricane and the flood in the cave to save their son, her feelings for him came rushing back.
However, this wasn't the time to think about that.
"Give Adie to me.
We have to leave right now, or the cave might collapse!" Renee stretched her hands out to take Adie from Stefan.
She could tell that Stefan was at his limit from holding Adie up the whole night with not much oxygen in the cave.
"It's okay.
I can do it!" Although Stefan felt like fainting, he insisted he was fine.
Instead of handing Adie to Renee, he urged, "You're right.
This cave is dangerous, so we should leave." "Why are you being so stubborn? You can hold him later.
Let me carry him." Renee looked impatient, but she was actually worried that Stefan might collapse.
She reached out again to take Adie from him, but Stefan refused to let go because he didn't want to tire Renee. The captain almost collapsed while watching their childish antics.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Can you step aside if you don't want to get out we need to get out because this little girl has almost
stopped breathing.
We can't waste any time." "Oh, okay!" Renee finally realized there wasm some one and awkwardly got out of
the cave.
Then, Stefan carried Adie out of the cave while the captain carried Tiffany behind him.
They collapsed on the grass in front
of the cave the minute they exited the cave taking deep breaths as they stared up at the blue sky.
"Does anyone know CPR? She's not breathing!" The captain hurriedly asked Stefan and Renee.
"Let me do it!" Renee rushed over and
did CPR on the little girl and after a
while, Tiffany finally started
breathing.
Tiffany opened her eyes and stared at Renee, her eyelashes wet with tears.
She looked around and called pitifully, "Mommy!"
