The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 1956

Justin and Ryan rushed over to the hospital. They sprinted to the ward entrance, just as a group of medical staff emerged.

"How's Carrie?" Ryan asked urgently, his face pale, as he grabbed the attending physician.

The doctor replied anxiously, "The patient's body is weak, and she suffered a severe mental shock. The situation only stabilized after receiving oxygen therapy. However, her mental state remains concerning." Ryan felt his heart constrict as he listened to the doctor's report. He quickly pushed into Carrie's room.

"Aah-Ah!"Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Carrie was being held down on the bed by Gregory and Paul. Several tubes were attached to her frail body. As she struggled against them, she still looked beautiful, like a fragile porcelain doll desperately trying to break free. Her eyes were bloodshot, while her gaze was unfocused and frantic. Her mouth was wide open, emitting broken sounds as her slender hands clawed wildly in the air.

"Ms. Carrie! Please calm down, Ms. Carrie!" Paul tried to hold her down but was afraid to hurt her further.

"Carrie! Don't do this! Don't scare Daddy... Carrie!" Gregory's face was panicked and desperate.

Ryan hurried to the bedside, his chest heaving violently. As he bent down, he heard a sharp crack. While she was flailing wildly, Carrie slapped him, leaving behind a shocking red mark across his cheek. Justin and Paul froze and quickly asked, "Are you okay?"

Gregory also stood, stunned, but he could not focus on anything other than his daughter while she was in this condition.

"I'm fine," Ryan replied calmly. He proceeded to sit on the bed, using his strong arms to lift Carrie's frail waist. He pressed her firmly into his chest, ignoring her struggles.

"Ah... Aaah..." Carrie's face was so pale, and her lips cracked from screaming.

"Carrie, it's okay... It's me, your brother, Ryan. I'm here. It's okay." Ryan's voice trembled as he tried to comfort her. He was at a loss for what else to say. "Yasmin..."

Tears streamed down Carrie's face as she struggled to utter this name in his ear.

Ryan heard it, though. His throat

tightened and he softly replied, "Carrie Yasmin is no longer with us,

but I believe she isn't gone completely. She will always be in heaven, watching over us."

On her way back to Savrow, Bella received a call from Justin. She sped straight to the hospital. Her mind was in shambles as she hurried inside. "Ms. Thompson!"

A clear, gentle voice called out from behind. Bella stopped, frowning slightly, as she turned around.

It was Grant, his face covered in sweat, as he was attempting to maneuver his wheelchair up the ramp.

When he was just a foot from the

top of the ramp, his wheelchair jerked. He lost control and began rolling down rapidly. Grant's eyes widened in shock, and his body lurched dangerously backward.
