Chapter 37
Sofia
Andrew
I don't know whether to be grateful or angry that we were interrupted. I saw Angel take a deep breath as he drank his glass of wine and went to the living room while I calmed down. When I finally calmed my heart, I opened the door, and it was a guy carrying our food.
"Thank you," Angel tipped him, and I went to the kitchen with all the bags.
I drank a glass of cold water because I needed it. If the night starts like this, I don't think I'll last as long as him.
"Sofia, why did you order so much? A couple of appetizers would have been enough," I heard him say as he entered the kitchen.
"Better if there's more to choose from. By the way, I also ordered things for breakfast as well."
He gave me a weird look, and I realized how that sounded.
"Dinner and breakfast. Hmm, I can get used to sleeping here. Anyway, I already know what room I'm getting."
We both laughed at his comment.
"I'll let you know that Amelia is a little jealous and upset because you invaded her room."
"Well, it's your fault. It was not the room I wanted to sleep in."
"But it is what you'll only get."
"The law, a judge, and a piece of paper don't say that."
"No, that changed when you made the divorce paper," he said, looking at me a little annoyed, disappointed, and tired. "Have you chosen the movie?" I decided to change the subject so as not to spoil the night. "No, but we have a variety for us to choose from."
Angel surprised me; he resembles the boy I met at the university, the one I liked the first time I fell in love with because of his intelligence, heroism, spontaneity, and kindness. Something I have not seen in these five years, except his intelligence. "Why are you looking at me like that?" It snaps me out of my thoughts and brings me back to reality.
"Nothing; I just remembered that guy I met at the university-the one who threw books at me in the hallway and then invited me for coffee to apologize. Then he accompanied me to my classroom, which happened to also be his."
"I remember. It took me a long time to convince you to have that coffee, but when you agreed, you not only got coffee but also cake, snacks, and chocolate." He reminisced with a chuckle.
"You're the one who wanted to apologize, but you finished my Nutella and half of my chocolate when we were in class," I remembered and rolled my eyes.
"What? I was about to fall asleep in the middle of the class because that teacher was so boring."
"I liked what we were then."
"I liked it too. Sometimes, I wonder when everything changes."
"When you joined the soccer team, you started meeting people for fun parties; the library and cafe weren't so much fun anymore."
"The library and the cafe were never fun, Sofia, but the company was pleasant."
"I really like you." I stopped myself, and I can't believe I said that out loud! He looked at me strangely as if he still didn't believe me. "I mean going to the library, sharing ideas and coffee. Debates in class or while studying made me better." I added to try to fix what I said a little. The doorbell rang, and I sighed in relief. "I'll get that. Just prepare the appetizers." When he was about to leave, he called me, and I turned to him. "Sofia, I liked you too," he told me, and my heart skipped a beat. "Everything we did back then, I mean."
He headed for the door, and I was thankful so he wouldn't see my red cheeks. If this man starts acting so nice and sweet and kisses me like that again, how will I be able to resist?
I finished serving the rest of the appetizers, brought them to the table where the pizza was, and served the drinks, this time with Coca-Cola instead of wine.
"Smells good," I said.
"Good choice. You ordered it with pepperoni, mushrooms, corn, bacon, chicken, extra cheese, paprika, and half pineapple." He looked at me with satisfaction.
Angel likes pizza with pineapple; I don't know why. It looks gross to me, but it's something I discovered in college during one of the many times we went to school together. We sat down to eat while we remembered the anecdotes from college when we got along until Elisa appeared in the story, but I didn't want to think about that.
For the first time in five years and six months, we are making out, talking, and eating together, and today we are going to watch a movie. He looks at me with the desire to eat me whole, and the feeling is the same, but I have to resist. I can't forget everything that happened these five years, and there's the fact that he still doesn't believe me.
We finished eating and watched a movie. We had a misunderstanding between an action movie and a romantic movie that I wanted to watch, but he won the action one because the agreement was that he choose the movie. It's not bad; we laughed and ate. It feels so good to be like this- no arguments, no lies, no resentment, just us.
"Sofia, watch the movie."
I realized that my attention was on him instead of the television, and I saw the seductive smile that always captivated me. I didn't even realize that the movie ended.
"I'm going to get something to drink," I told him and stood up. "Coke or wine?"
"Coke. I'll help you bring a snack."
""No! I'll take them; don't worry."
I need to breathe fresh air; being next to this man is t*****e, pleasant but difficult.
"Do you want us to watch another movie, or are you tired?" He asked in a gentle voice.
"Let's see another one; you choose."
I'm so stupid. I should have told him not to go home, but no, I just have to say, 'Let's see another one.'
"I chose the former, so you chose this time, but not a romantic one."
"Okay, then pick a comedy. I trust your judgment for the movies. Wait there, and I'll bring the snacks."
I went to the kitchen and drank two glasses of cold water before pouring water on my face. I took a deep breath and tried to calm down because I really didn't know what was wrong with me. It's like my brain is separated from my body and has a will of its own. "You need to calm down, Sofia. Just watch a movie. One step at a time," I reminded myself between deep breaths.
As if everything can be done step by step with him. Why does he have to look at me like that? Like candy, you want to unwrap.
I returned to the living room with two plates of appetizers. "See why I had to order some?" I asked while pouring a glass of cola.
It suddenly became quiet, so I got nervous. I just sat there as if I were lost.
"Sofia, sit down properly so we can watch a movie."
"Alright," I replied, swallowing. I scooted closer to him, and he smelled so good. I'm in awe of his aroma.
If you ask me what the movie is about, I don't know. I've been watching it for half an hour, but I don't understand why all I can do is think that Angel is here. That he's next to me, and that I'm dying for him to kiss me again.
I'm nervous because I'm a virgin and I don't have the slightest idea what to do. After five years, this man does what I always wanted: kiss me and return my wishes. However, I know it won't solve anything. In fact, it can actually complicate everything. "Sofia, why are you not watching? Sofia!"
I was snapped out of my thoughts. "What? Why are you yelling at me?"
"I'm asking you what happened to you when you were there, and why are you not watching the movie? Are you sleepy? Uncomfortable? Do you want me to go?"
"No!" I responded almost immediately, trying to stay calm and waiting for my body to start responding to reason. "I'm having fun, really. Like I told you, it's fun to see you watching a movie. It's like a nice date."
Stupid! Why did I do that?! What is my problem now?
"Yes, the truth is, it's something very pleasant. Like a good date." He agreed and put my hair behind my ear, and my body instantly lit up.
We stared at each other, and I didn't know how long until I felt his mouth on mine. I just love his kisses. I draw him toward me, deepening the kiss. My mind went blank, and I was not able to think, and I didn't want to either. He attacked my mouth, and I let him kiss me as I ran my hands over his strong arms. Yes, to see them and touch them was a luxury, a glory. He kissed me so eagerly that I could hardly breathe.
He let go of my hair as his mouth ran down my neck and one of his hands rested on my waist, bringing me closer to him. My body reacts to his touch; without realizing it, I have half of his body on top of me while I am lying on the couch. His hand left my waist, moving on my leg. Why did I have to wear a skirt? I squeezed his arms and back like I've been wanting to do for a long time.
After so many kisses and caresses, I didn't realize that my blouse was open. What moment did that happen? I felt his hands on the side of my chest, and then he went down again. I became brave and took off his shirt while his mouth was on my chest. I run my hands over his pecs, and they feel so hard and soft.
Suddenly, I felt one of his hands on my b****t with light touches while his mouth sought to kiss half of my b****t, and I panicked a little. Should I stop this?!! Isn't it too fast?!
When I was about to stop him, I felt his mouth on my n****e, and that little fight disappeared as the other hand rubbed the other. I put my hands on his head, offering him my breasts. He finished playing with one and moved to the other, leaving kisses along the way. I became putty in his hands, ready to surrender to whatever he wanted at the moment. He made me lie down more to leave me completely lying on the couch with him resting on top of me, and he took off his shirt. What a sight that was. God!
"I think you like what you see," he said with pride, and his mouth returned to mine, my hands touching his skin as far as they could.
His hand moves on my thigh, and it gradually rises while his mouth returns to one of my breasts. His touches and the pleasure they bring drive me crazy, and I suddenly feel his hand where no one has reached. "Angel! Oh, God!" I moaned, and he bit my n****e, but it didn't hurt, just enough to please me while his fingers teased my treasure.
This is better than what they say, or Angel is just good at it. He let go of my breasts to return to my mouth. He was looking at me as he followed what he was doing with his hands; his eyes were so dark. I could feel something deep within me that was begging to come out. I don't know what was going on in my body. What he does to me is magical, and after a few minutes, I'm already scratching his back and arching my back before I feel something exploding inside me.
"God!" I screamed, and I shut my eyes as my body convulsed. When I came to him, I slowly opened my eyes, and he had that triumphant smile that I loved and hated at the same time. He then kissed me, and I could taste a weird taste in his mouth. And again, the bell decided that it was a good time to ring.
"What the hell?!"
"Tell me you didn't ask for anything else," he asked with an irritated voice.
"Not that I know of," I replied breathlessly. I was trying to normalize my breathing, and it sounded again.
"Unbelievable!" Angel exclaimed and reluctantly got off me. He breathed and rubbed his hands on his face, and I understand his frustration because I am the same.
"Who could this be?!" I asked in annoyance and frustration before getting up from the couch and getting as decent as I could while Angel went to the bathroom.
It better be something important.
"Amelia!" I exclaimed when I saw my friend.This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Her timing is really terrible sometimes.
"Girl, finally! I was worried, and you're not answering your phone," she told me as she entered my apartment.
"It is late, Amelia. What is so important?"
"Why do I feel that you are worried about my arrival?" She asked with narrowed eyes.
"It doesn't bother me; it's just..." She took a deep breath and looked around, pointing to the room.
"Are these glasses?" she asked, coming closer and inhaling. "There's also wine and cola, a pizza box, and snacks," she pointed out.
"Amelia! Stop that!"
She then pointed at Angel's shirt. "That's not yours; wait." She looked at me up and down with suspicion. "You're disheveled, a little messy, and your face is red as if you just had an o****m," she commented without breaking. "Amelia! My God!" I groaned and covered my face.
"No way! Is it because of Angel? Wait, of course, it was from him." She then started clapping with a happy face. "I cannot believe it; my friend just lost her virginity," she said dramatically.
"Shut up, Amelia! You're embarrassing!" I shut her up and hoped that Angel didn't hear her.
"How is it? Or by God, how careless I am after five years of waiting for this moment, and I come to interrupt you! I'm leaving, but tomorrow I want all the details!"
""Crazy woman," I said and shook my head.
We heard Angel in the hallway, and we both turned, and he gave us a good view of his body.
"Hello, Angel," she almost whispered when she spoke.
"Hello, Amelia. I imagine it is important for you to be here so late."
Amelia and I looked at each other.
"Used to be, but not anymore." Is she crazy? "You guys keep doing your thing and making up for the years you lost." I'll kill her, I swear I will. "Angel, please be gentle with my friend."
"Amelia!" I screamed her name and widened my eyes at her, while Angel was holding back laughter. Really? A serious situation, and now he started laughing.
"Alright, I'm leaving; I won't bother you anymore. The mold is beautiful!" My crazy friend said while pointing to his chest before looking at me. "Wow. Now we're equal. You saw Isaac; now I saw Angel in all his glory." "Aren't you leaving?" I snapped at her.
"Okay, okay. Sheesh. I'm leaving."
She left the apartment and left us in awkward silence.
"Did you see Isaac's body?" I heard Angel say, and he looked annoyed.
"Before your mind blows, it was just an accident when I came to her apartment, and I didn't know he was there. Now, if you don't believe me..."
"I didn't say I didn't believe you, Sofia. Truce, remember?"
He walked closer to me as if he wanted to ask something. He probably didn't believe me.
"I'm going to clean up." I walked away from Hum and started tidying up the room while Angel helped me.
Of all the nights, Amelia just had to come tonight. By the time we finished fixing everything, I was exhausted. I could hardly look at Angel, and he noticed, even though he had been very quiet since Amelia left. "Thanks for helping me clean up," I said to break the silence.
"There is no reason to be thankful; it is only fair. Are you sleepy?" He asked, and I shook my head, but a yawn came. This day couldn't be more embarrassing. "I'm going to take that as a yes," he said with a chuckle. He rose from the sofa to where I was. "It's bedtime, Miss." He kissed me and pulled me to my room before kissing me again and going to his room, leaving me with my emotions in turmoil.
