The next morning, Nelly lay asleep at Donna’s bedside when the door was pushed open. Alpha King Larry entered the ward while scolding loudly, “Why didn’t anyone inform me about something as significant as this? Does anyone still take me seriously?”
Upon hearing the commotion, Nelly woke up with a frown. She became dazed when she noticed the coat wrapped around her body.

Initially wanting to vent his anger, Alpha King Larry froze when he noticed Nelly was alone in the ward. He asked, “Where is that brat, Alpha Kilian?”
Nelly scanned her surroundings and replied softly, “I think he went out.” Alpha King Larry had no choice but to suppress his anger.
He gazed at Donna, who lay on the bed, and approached her with a heavy heart. After observing her, he said, “She lost so much weight in just a few days…”
Alpha King Larry then looked up at Nelly. “How is Donna, Nelly? What did the doctor say?”
Nelly answered honestly, “She’s fine now. She had a fever induced by dehydration and cold, but her fever subsided last night.”
Alpha King Larry breathed a sigh of relief, although the thought of Donna’s suffering saddened him. He muttered, “We cannot let go of this matter so easily. I will never forgive that woman!”
At that moment, Alpha Wade strode over and checked Donna’s forehead to ensure her fever was gone. Satisfied, he turned to Nelly with disapproval. “Nelly, how could you keep something this serious from us? We would have remained unaware if it wasn’t for Tony and Ben. I understand you were afraid we would worry, but no matter when we find out, we will still be anxious.”
Nelly nodded and replied, “I understand now, Grandpa. I won’t make this mistake again in the future.”
She was always open to criticism and willing to learn from her mistakes. Upon seeing Nelly’s sincerity, Alpha Wade couldn’t bring himself to reprimand her further.
Meanwhile, Donna opened her eyes and spoke, “Don’t blame Nelly, Gramps. I’m at fault for allowing others to bully me because I’m still young.”
Both Alpha Wade and Alpha King Larry immediately turned their attention to Donna upon hearing her voice. “You’re awake, Donna!”
“Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere, Donna? Let us know if you do,” the two older men bombarded her with questions.
Donna smiled faintly at them. “I feel much better now that Gramps and Great-grandpa are so concerned about me. I’m fine!”
She had always been persuasive, and with a single sentence, she successfully silenced Alpha King Larry and Alpha Wade.
Alpha Wade gently flicked her forehead and said, “You’re lucky, little one.”
“Don’t scold Daddy and Nelly for this, Gramps, Great-grandpa!” Donna muttered nervously.
“Okay, I won’t. I’ll listen to whatever you say, Donna,” Alpha Wade replied, and then he looked at Alpha King Larry, waiting to hear his response.
Alpha King Larry let out a deep sigh. “Of course. I wasn’t blaming your daddy and mommy. I’m angry at the person who harmed you. I will make sure justice is served!”
Hearing his words, Donna smiled proudly. “Daddy and Mommy have already sought justice for me yesterday!”
The two men were stunned. Alpha Wade turned to gaze at Nelly, who did not deny Donna’s statement. “Don’t worry, Grandpa. I know the appropriate boundaries.”
Nelly had always been sensible, and Alpha Wade trusted her judgment. Alpha King Larry chimed in angrily, “That evil woman deserves to die!”
This statement instantly furrowed Alpha Wade’s brow. “That’s enough, Alpha King Larry!”
Alpha King Larry continued unreservedly, “It’s the truth. Anyone who dares to harm a member of the Morris family must be tired of living. I will pursue this matter further!”
“Why are you saying this in front of the child…” Alpha Wade shot Alpha King Larry a disapproving glance.
Alpha King Larry looked at Donna and said, “These children should have the courage to stand up for themselves as descendants of the Morris family. They should also know that someone is here to support them if they’re ever bullied. Are you scared, Donna?”
Donna shook her head cheerfully. “You’re so cool, Great-grandpa!” Alpha Wade was speechless.
Alpha King Larry was satisfied. He looked at Donna and spoke seriously, “Donna, remember that the entire Morris family will always have your back, no matter what happens. If anyone bullies you, I will seek vengeance even if it means using all the family’s resources!”
Donna nodded firmly. “I’ll keep that in mind!”
Despite his usual friendly demeanor, Alpha King Larry genuinely despised evil. He was straightforward and didn’t have complicated principles in life. However, if anyone dared to take advantage of those close to him, he would ensure the perpetrator faced consequences.
