Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Nelly answered in a low, submissive tone, “Yes, Alpha Kilian.”

When he heard it wasn’t Alpha Zachary, Alpha Kilian’s furrowed brows eased a little, but he couldn’t hide his disappointment. Ever since their last fight, they had never seen or contacted each other, and it was driving him crazy.

But today, when he finally saw her, his heart instantly lightened. He couldn’t help but soften his gaze as he looked at her. “If you’re already here, why aren’t you going in? Do you hate me that much?”

Alpha Kilian’s face showed a slight hint of displeasure as he awaited her response.

“No,” Nelly replied, her voice filled with indifference.

“What do you mean, no?” Alpha Kilian asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Actually, the trio was worried about you. They kept bugging me to let them see you, so I’m just their driver,” Nelly explained, trying to hide her own concern.

Alpha Kilian’s eyes flickered with a mix of relief and disappointment. “Then, what about you? Are you not worried about me? Even a little bit?”Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Nelly lifted her head to meet his gaze, her eyes filled with turmoil. She paused for a moment before finally saying, “No.”

Her answer hit him hard, but he couldn’t be angry. He had expected this response from her. He knew winning her over would not be easy, especially after everything that had happened between them.

“You’re heartless,” Alpha Kilian muttered, his voice taking on a strangely appealing tone.

As she listened to his words, her ears reddened. She couldn’t deny the effect his voice had on her.

Alpha Kilian continued to stare at her, captivated by her beauty in the dimly lit car. “Did you buy that cake?”

“Donna wanted to buy it,” Nelly replied, shifting the blame to someone else.

“But how did you know I like things that taste bitter?” Alpha Kilian suddenly asked, his eyes holding a knowing glint.

Nelly remained silent, cursing herself for falling into Donna’s tricks. She should have known better than to get involved with that mischievous girl.

When Alpha Kilian noticed her silence, he inched closer, making the car feel even smaller. Yet, he kept a suitable distance, creating a tantalizing tension between them.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Alpha Kilian asked, his voice low and lips curled into an enigmatic smile.

Nelly felt slightly awkward. “I… I heard it from Alpha Morris once in the past.”

“In the past?” Alpha Kilian seemed to catch on to something, a frown forming on his face.

Regretting her slip of words, Nelly thought to herself, “I must have been crazy! Why did I say that?”

“You remember something from long ago?” Alpha Kilian asked, his voice low and perceptive.

An uneasy expression crossed Nelly’s face. She didn’t want to be led on like this. Raising her head, she met his gaze and nodded. “Yes, that’s correct.”

A broad smile spread across Alpha Kilian’s face, betraying his excitement. It was clear that he was in a good mood.

“As a programmer, one has to have a good memory. I can’t help it, my memory is good,” Nelly added, trying to explain away her slip.

But no matter how hard she tried, Alpha Kilian would only believe what he wanted. He simply nodded, saying, “Mm-hm. Got it.”

Nelly was exasperated. If he understood, why was he still grinning like an idiot?

Frustrated, she turned her gaze away, asking, “Where are the children?”

“They’re still inside,” Alpha Kilian answered.

“Then why are you out here?” Nelly questioned.

“I’m here to see a certain heartless woman,” Alpha Kilian replied, his words laced with a playful tone.

“You’re the one to talk. Don’t make personal attacks on me,” Nelly retorted, annoyed by his comment.

“Am I wrong?” Alpha Kilian challenged. “You didn’t visit me after you were discharged from the hospital a few days ago. And when you did visit, you refused to come inside. If you’re not heartless, then who is?”

Nelly turned to face him, meeting his gaze head-on. “Didn’t you say that I don’t need to be thankful for your help? If that’s the case, then why are you calling me heartless?”

Alpha Kilian’s face turned solemn, his tone filled with regret. “Yes, I did say that. Although I told you that you need not be thankful to me, I didn’t say you aren’t allowed to visit me. Nelly Jackson, you’ve never listened to me in the past. What made you listen now?”

With a heavy sigh, Nelly shook her head. “I know how to adapt to circumstances.”

“Bullsh*t! I think you just want to piss me off!” Alpha Kilian exclaimed, frustration evident in his voice.

He had been eagerly waiting for her visit, almost going mad with anticipation. If she hadn’t come, he didn’t know what he would have done.

But now, he tried to calm himself and looked at her deeply. “Nelly, you know very well that’s not what I meant that day.”

As the sky darkened, Nelly could still see his face clearly. His eyes flickered in the darkness, appearing as deep as the ocean.

“I’m just… too angry,” Alpha Kilian admitted, his vulnerability showing through.

He was afraid, afraid that she had moved on, that she had feelings for someone else. But he also knew he had no right to demand anything from her. All he could do was court her again, to prove his sincerity.

But he kept these thoughts to himself and continued to look at her intently.

After a long silence, Nelly finally nodded. “I know.”

“Are you still… angry at me?” Alpha Kilian asked, his voice filled with hope.

Shaking her head, Nelly replied, “I’ve long forgotten about it.”

Alpha Kilian’s face lit up with a broad smile, all the anguish he had felt in the past few days swept away. His mood brightened.

His black eyes locked onto her, filled with emotions. “I know I’ve caused you pain in the past, left a scar on your heart. I can’t turn back time to erase it all, but I promise you, Nelly, I will spend the rest of my life proving that I am serious about you.”

Her heart trembled at his words, unsure of how to react.

Alpha Kilian didn’t want to force her into anything. So, he simply stared at her. “Thank you for being kind and bringing the three children to visit me.”

Caught off guard by his emotional display, Nelly didn’t know how to respond.

But when Alpha Kilian looked at her and complimented her, her heart skipped a beat. She was only a woman, after all.

“Let’s go,” Alpha Kilian said, pushing the car door open and stepping out.

Nelly stared at him, contemplating her options. If she didn’t go inside, she would look unreasonable.

With that thought in mind, she pushed the car door open and followed him out.

Alpha Kilian’s gaze lingered on her, his wide grin showing his delight. She looked like an angel in her gorgeous dress, and he couldn’t help but be captivated by her beauty.

As she stood next to him, Alpha Kilian couldn’t contain his happiness.
