Nelly flashed a smile at Tony as he reminded her to wait for them.
"Don't worry, I won't wander off," Nelly assured him.
"You may not be a child, but you're a beautiful lady. People always worry about pretty ladies when they're outside," Ben chimed in.
Nelly chuckled. "Alright, enough talking. Go inside quickly. I'll wait in the car."
Only then did the triplets feel relieved and enter the hospital.
Nelly enjoyed the breeze outside for a bit before getting into her car. She adjusted her seat, made herself comfortable, and absentmindedly stared at the ceiling.
Inside the ward, Alpha Kilian couldn't bear another day at the hospital without Nelly by his side.
Just as he was about to leave, Fabian approached him. "Are you leaving, Mr. Morris?"
"Yes."
"Alpha Morris said you have to rest at the hospital and not go anywhere else."
Alpha Kilian narrowed his eyes. "So you're taking orders from my grandfather now?" Fabian quickly lowered his head. "No."
"Or are you planning to knock me out again?"
"No, of course not!" Fabian shook his head. There's no way I'm doing that again!
Alpha Kilian rolled his eyes and was about to leave when he heard a crisp voice from the corridor. "Mr. Handsome!"
Surprised, he turned back and saw the triplets.
Donna quickly ran towards him but stopped herself from hugging him when she remembered his injuries.
"Did you miss me, Mr. Handsome?" she asked.
Alpha Kilian looked at her before turning his attention to the boys. He knelt down excitedly to meet them at eye level. "Of course I did. Why are you all here?"
"We're worried about you, Mr. Handsome! That's why we came to visit you!" the girl explained. She lifted a cake in her hand. "I even bought a piece of cake for you, Mr. Handsome!" Alpha Kilian was overjoyed. "Thank you, Donna."
Meanwhile, Fabian, who had been standing nearby, stared at the triplets.
He knew about two of them, but the third was a mystery. What is going on? Why does the new one look just like Mr. Morris?
Unable to contain his curiosity, he approached Tony and closely examined him. He scrutinized him so much that he almost had his face against the child's.
Tony calmly glanced at him. "Have you seen enough?"
Fabian's eyes widened. "Y-You..." He was too exasperated to say anything else. He then turned to Alpha Kilian. "What's happening, Mr. Morris?"
Alpha Kilian gave him a look as if to ask why he was freaking out before answering, "It's just as you see."
Fabian became even more confused by his response.
Alpha Kilian grabbed Donna's hand and led them into the ward, with Ben and Tony following behind.
Fabian was left standing there, his mind filled with wild thoughts.
The only conclusion he could come up with was that the children were triplets, not twins. What kind of luck does Mr. Morris have? Giving birth to one child is difficult enough, but three? Inside the ward, Donna stared at Alpha Kilian. "How's your injury, Mr. Handsome? Are you feeling better?"
"I'm feeling much better," Alpha Kilian assured her.
The girl examined his wounds carefully with a worried look, and for a moment, he felt as if he was looking at Nelly.
If only she could look at me like that... he thought, a bittersweet smile appearing on his face.
After finishing her examination, Donna felt relieved that she didn't find any new injuries.
"I'm glad you're not getting more hurt, Mr. Handsome. I also bought some desserts for you. Nelly said you like food with a little bitterness. Do you want to try it?" She held up the cake. Alpha Kilian furrowed his brows as he stared at the cake. "Nelly told you that?"
"Yeah!"
That's when he realized something. "Did she send you three here?"
Donna nodded enthusiastically. "Yep!"
"Where is she now?"
"She's waiting in the car outside the hospital!" Donna replied with innocent excitement.
The boys sighed internally. Does she even realize what she's saying?
Alpha Kilian's brows furrowed at the thought. Does Nelly not want to see me that much?
He got up and said, "You three wait here. I'll be back soon."
Then he turned to Fabian. "Look after them."
"But-" Fabian didn't get a chance to finish his sentence before Alpha Kilian had already left the room.
Fabian turned back and stared at the triplets in confusion. Why does he have to leave me to take care of children?
Tony frowned at Donna. "You're being too obvious!"
"I am not!" The girl looked to Ben for confirmation. "Am I, Ben?"
Ben nodded. "Might as well say it out loud at this point."
Donna furrowed her brows. "I was just worried. Isn't it great if Mommy and Daddy get together? Don't you two want that?"This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
"As long as Nelly is happy, I'm fine with anything," Tony replied firmly.
"I agree," Ben added.
Donna sighed in resignation. "You two are dense. If you don't care, then I will!"
The boys remained silent.
Fabian waved his hand, feeling lost. "Can you three explain what's going on?"
The triplets gazed at him with slight disdain.
"Isn't it obvious enough?" they said in unison.
Huh? Fabian became even more confused. Now they're even speaking in sync!
Meanwhile, Nelly was still waiting in the car outside when Spencer called. "You promised to treat me to a meal, Nelly. When will that be?"
"Tomorrow."
"You're so cruel, Nelly. If I don't come find you, you'll act like I don't exist. Don't you know how lonely I am here?"
Nelly was about to respond when she saw Alpha Kilian striding towards the car. He opened the passenger seat door and sat down, leaving her stunned.
Alpha Kilian was about to say something when he noticed her attire. It made him pause for a moment before asking, "Why are you waiting outside if you're already here?"
The call was still connected, so Spencer heard Alpha Kilian's voice as he waited for Nelly's response. "Who's that talking? Who is it?"
Nelly realized something and replied, "I'll talk to you tomorrow." She ended the call and stuffed her phone into her bag.
Alpha Kilian frowned. "Was that Alpha Zachary?"
"No."
