You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1210

Chapter 1210

“I'll ask Dr. Bailey later to confirm whether you're fit to be discharged, Grandaunt. Also, you don't need to worry about the cost of staying here. It's important that you recover well.”

Considering Mary might be worried about spending too much on hospital fees, Arissa had no choice but to persuade her.

“She's recovering quite well. I was also present when Shaun performed a routine examination on her. However, I think it's best for her to do a full body checkup before she gets discharged!” Darius said to Arissa.

Arissa nodded.

“Whatever you guys decide is fine by me.” Mary did not insist on being discharged from the hospital as she did not want the others to worry about her.

Arissa then chatted with the elders for a while. She had also discussed Mary's discharge from the hospital with Shaun when he came over to the ward.

Shaun was well aware of Mary's current condition since he had been following up on her.

“Don't worry, Arissa. Mdm. Mary has been recovering quite well. I'll bring her for a body checkup now. If there are no major problems, she can be discharged.”

“Thank you!” Arissa said gratefully, hoping that Shaun would take good care of Mary.

“You're most welcome, Arissa. If you really would like to thank me, prepare a delicious meal for me

when I visit you in the future,” Shaun whispered to Arissa, afraid Benjamin would hear him.

“Sure. I'll make whatever you want to eat!”

Arissa readily agreed. It was a request that she could fulfill easily.

Meanwhile, Darius and Mary looked at them in amusement.

“Old Mr. Graham, Mdm. Mary, I'll take you both for a medical examination now!” Shaun said as he gestured for the elders to leave the ward.

“Do I really have to go too?” Darius glared at Shaun.

“Don't you want to be discharged? It's a must for you to get a medical examination. Otherwise, Benjamin will skin me alive if you're feeling unwell again.”

Shaun then pointed toward Benjamin, who was busy with his work.

Darius' mouth twitched as he peered at his son. “Fine, fine! I'll go get myself examined!”

Arissa smiled as she watched them leave. Despite wanting to finish watching her movie, she wasn't able to do so.

Sneaking a glance at Benjamin, Arissa felt hesitant to ask for his help because he seemed busy.

She thought of going to the bathroom by herself. However, Benjamin's voice was heard just after she

sat up.

“You need to use the bathroom?”

“Y-Yes...” She stared blankly as he approached her. Did he grow a few extra pairs of eyes? I saw him concentrating on his work just now. While the others were talking to me, he didn't bother to join in the conversation either.

“Why are you in a daze?” Benjamin asked as he stroked her nose affectionately.

Pursing her lips, Arissa mumbled, “Weren't you busy with your work just now? How did you know I need to go to the bathroom?”

Benjamin chuckled softly and pointed at his own eyes. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

“I have good peripheral vision!”

Arissa's lips twitched. “You're certainly good at multitasking!”

Benjamin bent over to pick her up, then waited for her to hold the drip before turning around to head to the bathroom.

“Since I'm responsible for taking care of you, that means I have to keep an eye on your movements.”

“Then why didn't you greet Dad and the others?” Arissa stared at him with glistening eyes.

“They were here to see you, anyway. It doesn't matter if I greet them or not,” Benjamin replied

nonchalantly.

“I thought you didn't notice they were here!” she scoffed.

Benjamin lowered his eyes and gazed at her. “Get ready, I'm putting you down now.”

“Okay!” Arissa nodded.

Putting Arissa down, Benjamin helped her to hold the drip before turning around to let her do her business.

Arissa decided not to hesitate any longer and hurriedly finished doing her business.

Meanwhile, Regan's business suffered badly, and most of his business contracts were terminated. After realizing it was Benjamin's doing, he rushed to the hospital. However, security guards threw him out before he could even reach the hospital's main entrance.

“I need to go in! You don't have the right to deny me entry! Tell your director to come out now!” Regan's face contorted with rage.

“You've been blacklisted by our hospital!” One of the guards warned him sternly, “Leave right now. Don't try to cause any trouble here!”

Blacklisted?

Regan's expression darkened terribly. “This is all Benjamin Graham's doing, isn't it?”
