You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1128

Chapter 1128

Arissa sat in the living room, drinking a cup of coffee. It was a little cozy.

After that, she went to the study. Opening the door quietly, she cast a glance inside.

The meeting was still going on. Benjamin had his eyes fixed on the camera and didn't notice her.

Arissa stood by the door for a while. Then she walked over to him.

Before she could reach him, he lifted his head and met her eyes. Feeling guilty, she gave him a sheepish smile.

Benjamin's gaze was gentle. “When did you wake up?”

Arissa flitted her eyes from him to the camera. “It has been a while. You're still having a meeting?”

“Yep.” Benjamin nodded.

With a smile, Arissa put some cookies in front of him. “Have some. I'll go out now.”

“All right. Wear more clothes. Don't catch a cold!”

While Benjamin was watching her leave, everyone else in the meeting was shocked to see such a gentle side of him.

Arissa didn't disturb him anymore and walked out of the study.

A while later, Benjamin was done with his meeting. When he didn't see Arissa in the living room, he looked for her in the kitchen. However, she wasn't there either. He thought she was still upstairs, so he trotted up in a hurry.

She was still nowhere to be found. Benjamin called her, but her phone was in the bedroom.

Raising his brows, he hung up the phone and left.

Her phone is here, so she is still at home.

Benjamin went to the entrance directly and asked the bodyguard. “Have you seen Mrs. Graham?”

“Mr. Graham, Mrs. Graham is in the garden over there,” the bodyguard said and pointed the location to him. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

As Benjamin walked over in that direction, he caught sight of Arissa relaxing on the long bench in the garden from afar. With her chin raised slightly, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment.

Lifting the corners of her lips, he tiptoed to her.

Arissa felt a shade fall onto her lids. Thinking that it was the cloud, she didn't open her eyes.

The next second, she sensed a soft sensation on her lips. She sprung open her eyes in shock, and a familiar face of a man hove into her sight.

Benjamin curled his lips and only let her go when he was done kissing her.

“Your meeting has ended?” She looked up at him with sparkling eyes.

Sitting next to her, Benjamin reached out to hug her and kissed her cheek.

“Yes. I thought you went out.”

Arissa laughed as she stared at his handsome side profile. “You would have known way earlier if I went out.”

Benjamin stroked her nose. “So you really want to go out?”

Arissa cast him a glance and looked away. “I've been staying in the hospital for a long time. Of course, I would like to have a look around.”

“Now that you're back home, are you still bored?” Benjamin looked down at her.

Shaking her head, Arissa smiled sheepishly. “Not really.”

Benjamin held her in his arms. “Is it hot?”

“It's fine.” Arissa was sitting under the shade of a tree, so she didn't feel hot.

It was just that she wanted to bask in the sun after staying in the air-conditioned room for a long time.

Looking at the beautiful weather and being in the wind, Benjamin felt particularly good too.

“How about we have our lunch here?” he asked.

Surprised, Arissa pointed at the pavilion. “Here?”

Benjamin nodded. “The air is fresher outside. What do you think?”

Arissa smiled. “Sure!”

“I'll let Edwin know.” Benjamin took his phone and gave the necessary order.

Walking hand in hand, the couple strolled around their garden. There was an indescribable harmony in the atmosphere between them.

“Benjamin, what fruit is that? I think it's ripe?”

Glancing at them, he said, “I think they are coffee berries!”

Arissa turned her head to him. “Is it edible?”

“Yep!” Benjamin brought her over there and plucked a small one for her. It looked like a cherry.

“It's sweet,” she said with a smile.
