When His Eyes Opened

Chapter 2900

Chapter 2900

A week later.

Hayden ended his vacation in Aryadelle this time.

Avery and Elliot sent Hayden to the airport.

“Hayden, since you want to find a girlfriend in your heart, then you go over there, pay more attention to see if there is a suitable girl, and take the initiative.” Avery reminded, “Fate will not fall from the sky, you need to fight for it yourself.”

Elliot: “Are you really not considering moving the headquarters back to Aryadelle? Or opening a branch in Aryadelle is also fine.”

Avery hoped that his son would find someone and Elliot hoped that his son would return to his side.

Hayden: “I’ll consider what you said. Go back! I’ll call you when I arrive.”

“Well. If you don’t drink very well, don’t drink so much in the future.” Avery thought for a while and added this sentence.

As soon as Avery talked about wine, Hayden suddenly thought of how he was plotted against at Layla’s wedding. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Although the incident had passed, Hayden would never forget what happened that night in his life.

His first time, he stayed with a strange girl for a while. Up to now, he could hardly remember what that girl looked like.

Because that night he was in pain all over, and all his remaining sanity was used to fight against the effects of the medicine.

“Understood.” Hayden waved to them after responding to his mother’s words, “I’m going to the waiting room.”

“Go!” Avery watched Hayden enter the waiting room before leaving with Elliot.

On the way back, Elliot’s cell phone rang.

Elliot picked up his phone and saw that it was Wesley’s call.

Wesley and Avery had a better relationship, so when Elliot saw Wesley’s call, he answered it immediately without thinking too much.

Avery turned her head to the side and pricked up her ears to watch Elliot talk on the phone.

Not knowing what Wesley said on the phone, Elliot’s face suddenly darkened, and his fingers holding the phone tensed.

“Where are you now?!” Elliot yelled out.

Listening to his hysterical roar, Avery suddenly had an ominous premonition in her heart.

Could it be that something happened to Shea?

Elliot hung up the phone and asked the driver to drive to the third hospital.

With a stick in his throat, Avery reached out to hold Elliot’s big palm: “Did something happen to Shea…”

Elliot’s eyes were red, and his voice became hoarse: “Wesley said Shea had brain failure, and it was diagnosed years ago, and she kept it from us.”

“Brain failure…” Avery muttered, her eyes suddenly lost their luster.

“Is there no cure for this disease?” Elliot took Avery’s hand back and squeezed it hard.

“Elliot, I have to look at her specific situation first…but don’t get too hopeful. You also know that Shea’s brain has been seriously injured before…more than once. The corresponding treatment measures may not be very effective for Shea.” Avery didn’t want to lie to Elliot.

Elliot held back the tears in his eyes, looked at Avery’s face, “Are you saying she’s hopeless?”

“I don’t know… The progress of medicine has been very slow. We can’t prevent birth, old age, sickness and death, and we are still helpless for many serious diseases. Even if we don’t get sick, we will die of old age. Elliot, cheer up.”

Avery held Elliot’s hand with both hands, hoping to give him some comfort.

Third Hospital.
