Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

rather than it being too late

Marco had just stepped out of his parked car right in front of Arabella’s private boutique. He was immediately greeted by two attendants who opened the door for him, prompting Marco to enter straight away. However, his steps halted upon seeing Arabella sitting alone at a round table with tea and some sweet snacks in front of her. Across from Arabella, there was also a cup of tea that Marco knew was Letta’s. Marco eventually continued walking.

Arabella appeared calm as she sipped the tea in front of her when Marco stood beside her.

“Where is my wife?” Marco asked, causing Arabella to pause in placing her cup down elegantly before finally looking at her former fiance.

“You’re quite rude to come in and immediately confront me with your question. At least sit down first. Look, there are plenty of snacks left, and I can’t finish them all by myself,” Arabella said, making Marco furrow his brow.

“Does that mean Letta isn’t here?” Marco asked, as if his wife were present, he wouldn’t let these sweet snacks go to waste on the table.

“She was here earlier,” Arabella replied.

“So she’s gone now?” Marco asked again, about to turn around, but Arabella’s words stopped him once more.

“You’ve hurt her, haven’t you?” Arabella said, making Marco fall silent before turning to face Bella, who was playing with her index finger on the beautiful cup in front of her.

“What do you mean?” Marco asked, his brow furrowing, making Arabella smile before looking back at him.

“Please sit first. You can’t possibly ignore me just to hurry up and meet your wife, even though we haven’t had a proper chat in ages,” Arabella said, making Marco finally exhale deeply, knowing it wouldn’t do him any good to engage in an argument with Arabella. So, for now, Marco chose to comply with her request. Marco then sat directly in front of Arabella, looking at the half-empty tea cup.

“Why did you let Letta go home alone? Didn’t I say that I would pick her up?” Marco said.

“Oh come on, I’m not that cruel to let her go home alone. I instructed the driver and the best security guard to safely escort your wife home,” Arabella replied, making Marco sigh in annoyance.

“Still, you should have kept Letta here, so I could be the one to pick her up, right?” Marco said again.

“Earlier, she complained about getting bored waiting for you for too long, so I offered to help and take her home. Besides, the driver already confirmed that your wife had arrived home safely. You can check with your servants and the driver and the guards. I’m also on my way back here,” Arabella said, making Marco feel slightly relieved that Letta had made it home. From NôvelDrama.Org.

“Get to the point. I don’t like beating around the bush, and just say what you need to say quickly,” Marco said, making Arabella smile condescendingly again. For some reason, Marco currently felt like he was being played by his childhood friend.

“Come on, at least we should have some small talk before getting to the point, because I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable due to rushing,” Arabella said again.

“That’s why right now I want to get straight to the point because I’m in a hurry, you know that Letta’s condition was unstable before,” Marco said again, making Arabella flick her finger and then point it at Marco.

“That’s what I’m asking. Why was she unstable? You really hurt her, didn’t you?” Arabella asked again, making Marco fall silent as he looked at her.

“I don’t know if your conversation has gone too far. It seems like my wife has placed a lot of trust in you and told you about her condition,” Marco said again, making Arabella smile.

That’s my specialty. I can make people around me comfortable, so don’t blame me if your wife might prefer to confide in me rather than tell all her troubles to her stiff and overprotective husband,” Arabella said.

“What do you know?” Marco asked.

“Not much. What I know now is that Letta is starting to regain her memory, right? And you must be eagerly awaiting that. Isn’t that good? It means your wife will fully recover and won’t have nightmares anymore, right?” Arabella said, making Marco just smile condescendingly, even Arabella knew about Letta’s nightmares every night.

“Don’t pretend to be ignorant, Ara. You know I don’t want Letta’s memories to return because of the bad things we’ve experienced, right? So, don’t provoke her or do something that I don’t want to blame you for later,” Marco said, making Arabella smile even more.

“Come on, I’m just acting as a fellow woman because, you know, it would be uncomfortable to be in Letta’s position right now. She’s like a confused person. That’s why I know your’re not incapable of providing the best care for your wife alone. You just think about your own life. Yes, it can be said that you are a bit selfish. Even with all that you have, you could have taken her to the best doctor, but you did the opposite,” Arabella said again, making Letta reach out to sip her tea again.

“I don’t know if it was Letta who told you or if you took the initiative to find out about my wife’s personal life, but it’s enough for you to meddle in anything that happens to my family,” Marco said, seemingly uncomfortable that Arabella knew so much about his life, especially about Letta.

“Lately, I’ve let Letta meet with you and accompany you wherever you go, because I don’t want her to keep thinking about her past memories. But if it’s like this, it seems like you really should go back to Paris soon, it would be better, and never try to invite my wife to meet or dig up all the information about her,” Marco said again, only to be met with laughter from his former fiancee.

“Oh come on, Iam busy and not too interested in other people’s lives except for one Marco Jovanka. Somehow, since childhood, I’ve always been interested in your life, whether it’s like a hobby or whatever it is, but you really make me happy whenever I talk about your life, especially when it comes to your wife right now. Should I be grateful that I didn’t end up being your life partner?” Arabella said, making Marco finally get up from his seat.

“Stop all your nonsense. I don’t know what you’ve been talking about during your meeting. What’s clear is that you should never call my wife again. I will handle it and make my wife recover in my own way,” Marco said, then walked away. But just a few steps away from Arabella, she smirked condescendingly at his sturdy back.

“In the end, you will reap what you sow, won’t you? You can’t hide the carcass you buried. Something will definitely make that carcass smell to others, including Letta. So, rather than it being too late, it’s better to settle it now. I’m giving you this advice only because I still consider you my childhood friend. If not, I wouldn’t care about what would happen to you. And one more thing, because I have a little sympathy for your wife, don’t make my sacrifice in vain because I have let you and your wife get married and be happy. At least give mea family photo of you all living with smiles for the next 10 years,” Arabella said, leaving Marco speechless. Marco didn’t understand the meaning behind Arabella’s words, but the essence was that Arabella must have told him to reveal everything he was currently hiding. But Marco wasn’t ready to face the consequences he would have to endure in the future.
