The Twin Alphas Warrior Luna (RYN)

Chapter 157

Chapter 157

RYN

I think I understand now why the Watcher wanted me to discover things little by little. Cause tell me why, I am barely coping with the knowledge that my parents were murdered, now I am finding out they left me an inheritance?

I sat in the living room, stunned and blank in the head.

Super Wealthy.

Nerds who were devoted to their work.

How come I never knew my parents were rich?

Then like a curtain pulling back to reveal something, distant memories emerged in my head.

Times when my parents did a lot of nice things for people.

I remember being five and shooing a kid away for staring at my fancy meal. My mother had been upset and she had corrected me saying we needed to be more receptive and open to under–priviledged people.

Then she went ahead to invite the child to sit with us and eat with us.

Now that I think of it, I think that the child belonged to a servant.

Yes. At some point, we had servants who catered to us but my memories were too foggy.

I only lived seven years with my parents and only memories from my seventh year were sort of clear.

I tried to recall memories from when I was six and we just moved to Alpha Jack’s pack. Mom and Dad had said it was for work and I actually remember I hadn’t been happy about it.

My life before moving was pretty hazy and I had no recollection of what it was like.

Did I have friends? Did we live in a big house?

I don’t know.

Whatever recollection I should have had, the death of my parents and the sufferings that followed after, erased everything.

Suddenly, the door opened and in, stormed El.

At some point during the interview, she had left the house and I hadn’t thought much of it.

“Get up.” She ordered, heading for the stairs. “Grab some clothes for two to three days and get to the car

I frowned, wanting to ask why but remembering her aversion to being questioned. So Lobeyed and when I came back down,Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

I followed behind until she reached the car.

“May I please in the utmost humility ask where we are going?I stated, just as she opened a car door.

El sighed before turning her hard blue gaze on mine, “You didn’t expect that we would just sit around and let some dude sit on your inheritance, did you?”

I.blinked in shock. I had totally forgotten that, it was a possibility That my life could change in that instant.

“We are going to get you and the Watcher some justice. So let’s go!”

16:53 Fri, Dec 13 BBT.

I hurried into the car and it wasn’t until we were on our way that I realized my face was wet. Touching it, I subtly wiped the tears from it and focused on the journey ahead. I don’t know what the plan was but if we were going back to my former pack, then I’m sure they aren’t going to make things easy for us

Thankfully, my banishment only extended to the city where Theon and Miro were based. It didn’t extend to packs that were like rural or suburban settlements all around the cities.

So as we journeyed there, The Watcher called and laid out the plan for us. Bottomline, whatever we do, we must secure Alpha Jack for The Watcher.

We left Crystal city in the evening and by the time we arrived at Alpha Jack’s pack, it was around ten in the night.

At the main entrance to the pack, was a gate and around this gate were a bunch of four men.

El and I shared a glance and she nodded, before we alighted from the car, and approached the men.

Suddenly, a super heavy spotlight shone on us, so bright, I had to shield my eyes with my arm.

“Who are you and what do you want?” One of them asked with a rough voice.

We raised both arms up at our sides in surrender. “My name is Ryn Ashmore. I am here to see Alpha Jack Brohmer.” I said firmly.

It was a harmless statement, yet every single man growled in anger.

I took steadying breaths, feeling my wolf start to get restless.

“I just want to talk.” I said.

“Oh yeah?” The same guy replied. “Or you’re here to kill our Alpha?”

That question had me amused. What have they heard about me to conclude that statement?

“Well, I am not allowed to confirm nor deny that but one thing I know for sure is that, if you don’t let us through, in the next five minutes, you will sufffer severe harm. Guaranteed.”

That seemed to upset them even more and before I knew it, Mr. Commando ordered his men to attack.

As the men came for us, El ran towards them with a gleaming knife and before I knew it, I was engaged in hand to hand combat with Mr. Commando.

Beating him was easy.

All I did was land a powerful blow that brought him to his knees, and with a double kick, he was out cold.

A glance at El and to my horror, two men were dead and gutted on the floor.

Her eyes shone with glee as she looked at me. Then, in the flick of a hand, she threw her knife and I stepped back in fright Just in time to see someone else get the blade deep in the chest.

“Alway be on alert!” El scolded as she stormed towards the fallen man and yanked out her knife with ease. I watched her clean the blade on the cloth of her victim before bending down.

“Help me.” She said, as she grabbed the legs of one victim. Quickly, I lowered myself, and grabbed the arms of the other guy and that’s how we cleared the bodies off the road.

My heart pounded as we headed back to the car.

“Entrance is go.” El said into her phone, before getting into the driver’s seat and driving right through the gate.

In all my years of living in Alpha Jack’s pack, I never wondered why he lived in a mansion when his pack members could barely afford one–storey homes.

Now I understood why and that… pissed me off greatly.

His house was a ten minute drive through farmland and houses and small shops. Some people were still out and roaming and I knew it was only a matter of time before they figured out what was happening and surrounded us.

When we arrived at Jack’s mansion, we found about two dozen men on guard and thankfully, this time, none of them had

weapons.

I stepped down alone, according to plan, and immediately I was recognized, they all bared their teeth in a grow!

I raised my hands in surrender while standing not too far from the car. “I am here to see Alpha Jack.”

As soon as I uttered those words, the man himself came out of his house with some other men behind him. When the six foot something man with greying hair saw me, he glared at me in contempt and a smug look.

“Well, look who we have here.” He said in a farm accent, while chewing on a toothpick on the side of his mouth. He looked around me and scoffed, “Don’t tell me you were stupid enough to come here all by yourself?”

I stared at him, my hands curled into fists. I should speak, but all the pain, the torture, the suffering he put me through came flooding in and I had to take big breaths to contain my anger.

“I am here for my inheritance.”

Alpha Jack looked at me and then he burst into laughter, joined by his men as well.

“You should leave while you still have the chance. The Elites are on their way and they will arrest you on sight, so best you leave now.

I barely flinched as I stood my ground, simmering în rage.

When Jack realized I would not budge, his brows flew up.

“Ahh, I see. I guess you’re dumber than I thought.” He said, turning around to go in. “Finish her and the one in the car off. Get rid of their bodies.”

And that’s when chaos began.
