The poorest rich man novel (Chen Hao)

Chapter 717 Report

Chapter 717 Report

Chen Hao merely glared at her, not even bothering to deal with such a woman before he set off toward

the Hot Spring Villa. Of course, he went there so that a staff member who knew him could call Li

Zhenguo on his behalf, and not for the accommodation. After the call was made, Li Zhenguo seemed to

become fearfully respectful once he realized it was Chen Hao.

“Yes. There are some things that you’ll have to explain to me when you come back,” Chen Hao said

simply.

“Understood. I’ll return at once and give you a personal report on the matter,” Li Zhenguo said hastily.

Judging by what he said, Uncle Pingan was right about the incident being a deliberate act and not

coincidental; Zhenguo definitely knew something about the matter too. Meanwhile, noticing that

Zhenguo’s tone seemed a little flustered, Chen Hao didn’t pry further and simply waited for his return

on the next day.

The next day, when he came straight to the Hot Spring Villa and waited for Li Zhenguo, he walked

around the villa and recalled the funny incidents that occurred here back when he’d just restored his

identity as Young Master Chen. In hindsight, those were truly good times.

As he walked through the villa, a noisy voice reached his ears. “Are you blind? Do you have any idea

how much this top cost me?”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to, really!”

“Hmph, how can they hire some riff raff in such a big villa? Even if they did, couldn’t they have found

one who watched where they were looking? Bloody hell, what do you want me to do now?” A girl

seized a server by the collar and jabbed her in the forehead; they were surrounded by champagne that

was spilled all over the floor.

By the looks of it, the server had accidentally spilled champagne after being bumped into and losing

her balance, but Chen Hao didn’t think much of it because incidents like these were very common in

any place of entertainment, and he was sure the management staff would be able to handle it well.

However, when he took a good look at the people involved, he froze.

What a coincidence! It was Li Weiwei, Yang Hui’s high school classmate that he met on the previous

evening. Of course, Chen Hao was surprised not by her but by the server being seized because after

he took a closer look, he realized that she was none other than his own former classmate, Hao Lanlan.

Upon realizing who she was, Chen Hao’s eye started twitching. Back when they were both poor

students, they’d worked together for some volunteering projects. Her family was not well-off at all, but

she was a resilient person with exceptional grades.

At the time, the two of them were quite close, so Chen Hao curiously approached them when he saw

that she was here.

Meanwhile, Li Weiwei was screaming as if she’d dressed up nicely for the first time and had her shirt

ruined, and her attitude of treating the mishap like a grave insult was turning her initial jabbing to full-on

shaking. She was even planning to slap Hao Lanlan when Chen Hao dragged the poor girl out of the

way, and her slap missed.

“You?” Li Weiwei asked, finally noticing Chen Hao. She was surrounded by the same people from the

previous day, except there was a bespectacled boy he’d never seen before, who had a hand in his

pocket and an indifferent smile on his face as he watched the scene.

“That’s enough. Don’t cause a scene here!” Chen Hao was not close to these people, so he didn’t hold

back his annoyance.

“Chen Hao?” Hao Lanlan exclaimed, feeling extremely shocked as her breathing became heavier. She

hadn’t heard from him in so long and only knew that he was now a capable young heir, so of course

she would have never imagined that she would one day become associated with him. In that moment,

Hao Lanlan was shocked to see him again, to the point of falling completely silent.

“I say! Isn’t Hot Spring Villa supposed to be the best villa in all of China? It’s bad enough they have

such a mindless server, but now they’re letting in just about any commoner from the streets? Am I

missing something here?” Li Weiwei said with surprise. After all, being able to enter this place was

practically a status symbol on its own, and she considered Chen Hao’s existence here a grave insult.

“Exactly! How did he get in here?” the other girls chimed in, clearly agreeing with her.

“Yi, can’t you get the manager to boot these two out!” Li Weiwei said.

“No problem. If you find it annoying, then all I have to do is say the word,” the bespectacled boy called

Yi said, then took out his phone and actually made the call.

“Oh, you’re really trying to get me kicked out? Am I hearing this correctly?” Chen Hao asked as he Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

smiled bitterly.

“Just you wait, loser!” Li Weiwei snapped. Meanwhile, Yi had just got off the phone and was shaking his

head at Chen Hao and Hao Lanlan.

“Chen Hao, they bumped into me just now and I lost my grip on the server’s tray,” she hastily explained

to Chen Hao, terrified of losing her job.

“It’s alright. You could have smacked that tray onto their faces and still get away with it,” Chen Hao

said, then smiled.

“What?! Is something wrong with your head, loser? Did you just say that you wanted to hit me?” Li

Weiwei said, angered.

After a while, a middle aged man who seemed to be in his forties jogged over, all sweaty and out of

breath as he called out respectfully, “Young Master Chen!”

Chen Hao had never seen him before; he seemed to be a newcomer, so Chen Hao didn’t know what

position he held in the villa, but with a hand stuck in his pocket, he still said anyway, “These people are

not welcome here at the villa. Send them out!” The girls froze when Chen Hao said that. What kind of

bigshot was he to be able to even command the villa’s director?

“Young Master Chen, I thought you were arriving at noon? I didn’t expect you to arrive so soon!” The

man took one look at Chen Hao, then ignored him as he clasped Yi’s hand with reverence.

“My friends here got antsy. Besides, the villa is so big that we can’t possibly complete a tour in one

afternoon,” Chen Yi said with a faint smile.

At that moment, the girls all burst out laughing. “Oh, I was scared to death!” Li Weiwei patted her chest

as she laughed.

“Oh? How so, Miss?” the man asked, confused.

“Haha, didn’t you hear what this dumb*ss said, Director Zhao? He thought you were calling him when

you said ‘Young Master Chen’, and asked you to kick us out of here! Oh, this is hilarious!” Li Weiwei

clutched at her stomach.

The other girls joined in the mocking as well. “I know, right? Look at him, pretending he’s the real boss

around here!”

“Oh. I was wondering why this kid interrupted me when I was calling for Young Master Chen,” replied

Director Zhao coldly.
