The leader of the soldiers shouted back. “Bullsh*t, are you trying to trick us again? Last time you used a sh*tty excuse to earn Old Lady Meng’s trust too, then stole her stove from her! How dare you try and trick us again? Capture them!”

The ghostly swords were filled with a deadly Chi, as the soldiers swung it towards Bjorne’s head.

The peacock asked, “What do they mean by that? Someone already came by and tricked them?”

Bjorne was speechless. “Why would that person trick her into giving them a stove? Do they want to cook something, right here of all places?”
