After a while, Leonardo put Angel down and approached William. As the two reunited, they each felt a wave of emotions rise up in their hearts. In order to find his father, Leonardo had to follow his tracks, traveling through several places.

In the end, William was the first to punch Leonardo on the shoulder jokingly.

“Dad!” Leonardo said as his eyes started to redden after saying that for the first time in forever.

William hugged his son and laughed. “As expected from my son. People with actual abilities would never stay in the dark for long. They would burn bright like the stars in the sky. It’s just that I never would’ve expected you to have grown this much.”
“But… ”
“You little punk, how did you end up with so many wives? Putting the others aside, how is Beatrice one of them? She’s literally Dorothy’s sister. Do you know how awkward it’ll be when we meet up with your mother-in-law?”
Leonardo replied. “Dad, having more daughters-in-law would just make the Rockefeller family bigger. Besides, you’re no better than me.”

“Oh yeah? Then tell me about Susan Hunter, hmm?”
Upon hearing this, William was stunned, covering his son’s mouth in an instant. He then used telepathy to talk to this. “Lower your voice, you brat. I’d be doomed ifyour mother heard that!”
“So it was true?”
“Well, I didn’t really mean to. Since you know about Susan, you must know about that tomb underneath Michigan, right? Have you been down there?”

William continued. “I had to go through quite a lot of research to find a passageway situated in America! That place is very dangerous, so I found a group of people to help, and Susan was one of them.”
“I ended up getting poisoned there, and started hallucinating, so that’s why I did… Things with Susan while I was still out of it… Oh right, where is she now?”
Leonardo shook his head. “The ancient boundary has shattered, and America is at stake. Not just that, spiritual energy overflow happened a while ago as they had predicted. “I lost contact with a lot of people, and I didn’t keep in touch with Susan either.”
William asked, “What exacfly happened in the past few years? Oh right, where is your grandfather? I mean the one in Rockefeller Group. Why… Are none of them here?”
Leonardo shook his head again. After that, he placed his index finger in between William’s brows, inserting every memory of the past incidents that William had missed during his coma straight into his consciousness. At that very moment, William felt as if his brain would explode. However, he was most appalled when he realized how the Rockefellers treated his son and wife after faked his death. They stole the company and its assets, and they even refused to pay for Brittany’s hospital bills.

Before he left, he had actually made quite a few arrangements just in case. When Brittany became a vegetative patient from the accident, his main goal was to find a way to cure her… And to hide from
some kind of force at the very same time.
Those people would only stop once he was dead, after all. Yet a serious issue arose after his plan, which was something he didn’t really account for.

Leonardo shook his head again. “I’m actually pretty fine. The one who suffered the most was Mom. She had to worry about me all the time.”

In the end, he told his father. “Things have been pretty urgent lately, and I’d have to travel quite far from home. The situation over there doesn’t seem optimistic, so I will bring along some gadgets to survive this at the very least. I’m leaving the house to you, Dad.”
Just then, Maya rushed over and hurriedly said, “Holly’s in danger. We have to get to War Mountain right now!”
