Just then, Doris knocked on the door outside the reception lounge. "Young Master, please come over to my office instead." Charlie opened the door and asked, "Has Claire left already?"

Doris nodded and said, "The young mistress has already gone downstairs. Don't worry."

"Okay." Charlie heaved a sigh of relief and went to Doris' office with her as he asked, "What did Claire come to see you about?"

Doris replied, "It's about the progress of the Emgrand Hotel project. The second phase of the project undertaken by the young mistress has already been completed, and our supervisor will organize the acceptance in the next two days."

Charlie asked, "Claire is doing well on that end, right?"

Doris nodded and said, "The young mistress is doing a great job. The quality of the project and the construction progress is even better than we had expected. She is the most ethical and professional IB-party that has collaborated with Emgrand Group over the years. She did not cut any corners on the construction materials or any other aspects, and she definitely met the industry benchmark."

Charlie said with much relief, "That's great, then."

Doris then spoke up at this time and asked, "By the way, Young Master, when did you come back from Eastcliff?"

Charlie said, "This morning."

Doris nodded and said with some shame, "After I heard about the matter regarding Ten Thousand Armies, I originally planned to go to Eastcliff. However, I thought of how was just a woman, and I was afraid that I would not only fail to be of any help to you but that I would even end up causing trouble for you instead. So, I decided to stay in Aurous Hill to make sure that everything is running as usual in Emgrand Group. So, please do not take offense to it and hold it against me, Young Master."

"Why would I?" Charlie smiled slightly and said seriously, "You did the right thing. If everyone were to leave their respective post and position to help me at the slightest news or rumor, many things would end up being in a deadlock then. Moreover, Ten Thousand Armies means nothing to me at all."

Doris hurriedly said, "That's good... I've always had a feeling that you would definitely have a way to solve this crisis, Young Master!"

Charlie nodded and smiled as he said, "It's a crisis, but it is even more of an opportunity. In fact, I've already officially become the head of the Wade family now, and Ten Thousand Armies has also pledged its allegiance to me. So, it's time for me to go and do something big!"
