THE LIE: DECEPTION TO THE CEO

Angie understood that she had made a mistake with him, with his last comments, regretting this, she stayed quietly in the room watching on TV, the series that she followed. For his part, Joshua did not understand how their father, having the position he holds, does not exercise more authority over his daughters.

Luz slept almost all day, waking up at five in the afternoon, with a strong hangover and a headache. Angie called room service and they brought her painkillers and water, as well as the food and drinks recommended by the doctor.

After this, Angie called Joshua who was in a meeting with his staff. He was dealing with the problem presented with Luz and the consumption of liquor and drugs in one of the rooms, without anyone knowing what was happening there.

Because of this, he gave the order to prevent events like this from happening again. He also demanded more control over the guests from everyone and also from the security system. It became evident that there are serious flaws in the monitoring system in this regard.

In the middle of the meeting, a call came in on his cell phone. When he noticed that it was Angie, he quickly got up and left the room to talk with more privacy.

-How is Luz? Did she wake up? -He asked, anguished because he felt his responsibility was compromised.

-Yes, a few minutes ago. She woke up with a strong hangover and a headache. The room service brought her everything the doctor said and she looks better now. Now I really want to go. Can you order your guardian to let us go,” she asked, angry with him.

-I hope you keep it up! I’m not going to tell you when I’ll call you, because tomorrow I’m going on a business trip abroad, but I’ll call you when I get there,” he informed, grateful to her for the delicious hours she dedicated to him.

-Can’t I see you to say goodbye,” she asked, pleading. Although he was disappointed by everything he discovered, he recognized that he felt too attracted to Angie, who pretended to be an experienced and very liberal woman.

-Wait for me in the suite, I’ll be right up! -he ordered and hung up the call. He went up to the suite, entered the room and found them both sitting on the sofa. He walked towards them, focusing his gaze on Luz.

She, embarrassed, lowered her gaze and quietly accepted his call for attention. He approached Angie, lifted her from the sofa and took her by the waist, holding her close to his body. Afterwards, he kissed her very ardently on the mouth, saying goodbye to her with a strong hug.

After they left, he called his father to confirm that he would be attending the meeting in Brussels that he had requested. He also called the crew of his plane to prepare the trip for the next day, giving the itinerary to the Captain.

That night before going to sleep, Joshua called Christopher and told him what had happened with Luz.
