The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 1188

Seeing that the Blood Wolves were ready to run away, Frank moved to stop their leader, Terry 'Ted' Cotton, from doing the same.

He had to admit that he appreciated the man, especially since he had been overly dramatic with that punch earlier.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

And yet, Ted quickly recognized from that single strike that he and his gang would never win against Frank, and he surrendered unconditionally. That alone made him a decisive person.

"Trying to run? Well, too late." Frank returned Terry's threat word for word but soon smiled. "Anyway, this isn't everyone in your gang, is it?"

"What...?" Terry was sweating bullets at Frank's question-was he going to attack the Blood Wolves now?!

Still, he gulped and braced himself to answer. "You're right, sir. We're just a small cell of the Blood Wolves... there has been some disagreements in the gang, and I had no choice but to move here with my boys..."

"Disagreements? Really?" Frank moved closer, rubbing his chin.

Seeing that Frank was curious, Ted could not care less about spilling the beans in order to survive.

"Well, see, the Blood Wolves are actually a combination of three gangs: the Bleeders, the Wolvens, and the Blue Fangs. Of the three, the Bleeders are the strongest, and their two leaders are the overall bosses of the Blood Wolves. They are both Skyranks too!"

Pausing to catch his breath, Ted then continued, "The Wolvens are the hired muscle, and there's no lack of martial artists among them, but they're nothing to brag about and therefore below the Bleeders in pecking order."

"As for us..." Ted scratched his head awkwardly. "We're the weakest. We have the numbers, but we don't have any martial artists among our ranks after all. That's why the Bleeders and the Wolvens have always had the advantage over us."

Ted then sighed. "Then years ago, having had enough bloodshed, me and the bosses of the other two gangs agreed to jointly establish the Blood Wolves, and things finally calmed down until days ago, when the Wolvens' boss was assassinated under mysterious circumstances. With all three gangs suddenly at war again, I brought my boys and fled here since we still have no martial artists."

Frank appeared thoughtful after hearing the full story. "So, are you Blue Fangs going solo from now on?"

"That's our only choice." Ted sighed in exasperation again. "Well, we can't stay here now, and my boys have taken enough losses from martial artists already. We're not about to return to the city and fight the other two gangs over turf, so that means we have to leave Zamri."

Ted appeared miserable at that, just as Frank understood why they were petrified after he revealed that he was a martial artist.

It made perfect sense, but they must have presumed that he and Helen were from rival gangs.
