Chapter 1919
Chapter 1919
Bethany shouted at Paul. "Shut up! You're just a dog my dad kept by his side... There's no place for you to speak here!"
"Enough! The one who should shut up is you!" Gregory slammed his palm on the table, causing Bethany to jump in fear.
"Dad..."
"You repeatedly harmed my daughter. Sending you to prison only is considered letting you off easy." Gregory leaned forward slightly and gritted his teeth, saying word by word, "You should go to hell with that evil, heinous, and heartless mother of yours!"
Bethany trembled, her rough hands clutching the glass window desperately. "Dad... What are you saying? Carrie is your daughter, but so am I! I was framed by Zoe! She threatened me! You can't leave me to die!"
"Save you? Why should I save you?" Gregory stood up gracefully and looked at her with a mixture of disdain and hatred, as if he were looking at an enemy. "I came to see you today to tell you that from now on, I won't care whether you live or die. I won't come to visit you anymore. Just looking at you makes me feel disgusted."
"Dad..."
"Don't call me dad. I don't have a daughter like you. I only have one daughter, and that's Carrie."
After he finished speaking, Gregory turned around and left without looking back.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
"Dad! I'm your daughter! I'm your daughter! Dad!" Bethany yelled at the top of her lungs, banging on the window glass.
Smack!
Paul stuck the paternity test report on the glass, covering her pale face completely. "I'm sorry to tell you that you have no blood relation to Chairman Salvador."
Bethany stared at the paper, her eyes widening until they almost bulged.
"You're merely a bastard that Shannon had with a lowly man." A sarcastic smile tugged at Paul's lips.
"No... Impossible... You're lying! Lying!"
Bethany's eyes were unfocused, her fingers scratching the glass surface, making a sharp noise. "I am the Salvador family's daughter! I am Gregory's daughter! Did Justin ask you to make up these lies to deceive me?! Call my dad here... I want him to tell me himself!"
Paul threw the report on the table and turned to leave.
When he was one step away from the door, he paused and said lightly, "Oh, right. Once you're inside, remember to make a few friends in jail and maintain a good relationship with your cellmates. Otherwise, you'll have a tough time."
Bethany stood dumbfounded for a long time until a police officer came to escort her back. She screamed and threw her chair with a twisted expression, laughing and crying, clawing at the air like a madwoman.
"I am the Salvador family's precious daughter! I am a wealthy and noble young lady! You're all dead if you lay a hand on me! Hahaha!"
