The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 1809

Ryan only stayed at the hospital for one night. He did not sleep at all, spending the entire night taking calls, making calls, arranging press conferences, and contacting renowned psychiatrists and psychologists both domestic and international. He wanted to ensure his beloved received the best possible treatment.

Meanwhile, Logan seemed intent on overwhelming Ryan, disregarding whether he could endure the strain and pushing almost the entire Hoffman Group's affairs onto him. Dean could only watch helplessly, on the verge of tears.

While Ryan was getting his morning IV drip, Yasmin called to inform him that Carrie's condition had stabilized. He immediately pulled out the needle from his arm. He got up and put on his black coat as he headed for the door.

"Dean, prepare the car!"

"Mr. Hoffman, at least finish this bag of IV drip before you leave!" Dean's heart ached at the sight of Ryan exhausting himself. In just a few days, he had lost so much weight that his face was almost unrecognizable.

"I'm fine." Ryan had already stepped outside. His resolute figure exuded a sense of desolation, and his hoarse voice carried an urgent longing. "Nothing is more important than seeing my wife."

The luxury sedan once again entered the villa's courtyard in Crescent Bay, but Ryan was once again refused entry by Nigel.

"Mr. Hoffman, Ms. Carrie is much better. She enjoyed her breakfast." Matt was respectful and calm, harboring no resentment. "Really? My wife... Did Carrie have a good breakfast? That's wonderful..."

Ryan's eyes shone with joy, his long eyelashes trembling. Recalling past moments, he found himself lost in sweet memories. "Carrie does not like eating breakfast. I always had to coax her out of bed to eat breakfast. Every time, I would stay with her until she finished breakfast before heading out."

"Mr. Hoffman, you have been very considerate. Thanks for taking care of Ms. Carrie for such a long time," Matt said with a bow.

Ryan felt a sharp pain in his chest. No matter how he interpreted it, those words sounded like a farewell.

"Mr. Justin and Ms. Yasmin have

been caring for her. They're both by

Ms. Carrie's side, so she is well

cared for. You need not worry. The weather has turned cold these days. Please return."

"Uncle Matt!" Ryan anxiously grabbed Matt's arm, his parched lips quivering, unable to find his voice. After a moment, he hoarsely pleaded. "Can I see Carrie? I want to see her. I miss her so much..."

"Mr. Hoffman, Old Master has said Ms. Carrie will not see any visitors while she is recuperating. Please go back." Matt mechanically repeated the statement.

"Visitor?" Ryan flinched at the estranged term, coughing heavily. "Carrie is my fiancée, my beloved! My family! How can I be considered a visitor?"Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

"I understand you have your difficulties."

Having watched Ryan grow up, Matt could no longer maintain his cold facade. He sighed deeply and said "But after what happened, you

should understand Old Masteral ne

anger and resentment. Furthermore, Chairman Hoffman..."

"What did he do?" Ryan asked urgently.

"On the night of the incident, Chairman Hoffman called and had a fierce argument with Old Master. Ms. Bella was also present at the time."

Matt sighed helplessly. "Their stance was clear. Your marriage to Ms. Carrie will likely be put on hold."

A thunderous noise filled Ryan's head, as if the sky were collapsing. A strong taste of blood surged up his throat.
