It was as if Melody achieved everything just by asking Lucas for help. That was clearly not the case as the entire itinerary of the meet-and-greet and all the planning-including her decision to take dance lessons and choreograph her routine were all her efforts. They did not acknowledge her at all simply because her husband was Lucas.
