Mia bent down a little touching Ray’s shoulder with a small smile..

Ray pouted his lips staring blankly at his bowl of cereal, he missed Arya, she was the one who always made breakfast for him and also gets him ready for school..

“Come on Ray.. eat up” Mia urged stroking his hair gently..

She sighed already knowing where this was heading to, he’d probably throw a tantrum and it would take him quite a while to be pacified..

“I miss Arya aunt.. can’t we go visit her one more time?”

Ray stared down at the bowl and picked up his spoon..

Chad touched Kyle’s shoulder gently, he took in a deep breath, watching Kyle cry was the most unbelievable thing he has ever seen..

Kyle turned to Chad with a frown on his face “It’s been three weeks Chad.. and she hasn’t woken up.. why is that?”

“Kyle you need to relax.. she’ll come around soon.. I promise, you just have to stay calm and collected please for everyone’s sake” Chad assured leading Kyle out of Arya’s ward with him..

As soon as they were gone, the fingers of the lady on the bed moved a bit..

Chloe sighed, staying at home for the past three weeks was so boring, after Arya’s delight was destroyed by some men few weeks ago..

She was now officially jobless, her poor dear friend still hasn’t woken up after she was shot by that bitchy sister of hers..

A plate of scrambled eggs was pushed in front of her..

“Eat up.. I don’t want Bryan scolding me for not feeding you well” Liam seconded..

Amidst the whole chaos they’ve been through, some good things did happen to her, for example, Bryan was getting along with her brothers well except for Arnold whose ego was still so big to let everything go completely..

Chloe stuck up her middle finger to him before bolting up the stairs and into her room..

She made sure the door was closed shut to prevent Liam from bardging into her room like he does all the time..

Mia cleared her throat unable to bear the lingering silence anymore between she and Chad in his office…

Not his office exactly, but more of his personal space where he invites one or two buddies to spend time with..

They’ve been really close recently as a result of her frequent visit to the hospital to check up on Arya..

“So.. how is Arya doing?” She asked breaking the awkward silence..

“I checked up on her a while ago with Kyle… she’s doing just fine, the last few weeks has really been tough for everyone..”

Mia nodded in approval, she clasped her hands together feeling a bit nervous, why??

Maybe that was because the room they were staying currently had a few posters of barely clothed ladies on the wall..

A hurried knock came on the door startling the two..

“Doctor Chad! the patient at ward 201 just woke up! we need your attention”

Chad and Mia exchanged brief surprised glances, that was Arya’s ward number..

Kyle bursted through the door to Arya’s ward, he made way through the little crowd around her till his eyes settled on her weak ones..

She smiled weakly at him just when he was standing in front of her..

Chad turned to everyone present in the ward, which included Kyle’s family, Arya’s dad and Chloe..

“Please let’s give them a moment.. it’s a little bit crowded in here”

They all paid heed to him and walked out slowly from the ward leaving only the two couple behind and also Chad..

“Arya.. do you feel any discomfort?” Chad asked

Arya shook her head slowly, he gave a nod and stepped out of the ward leaving the two behind..

As soon as Chad was gone, Kyle turned to Arya with a frown on his face..

“Do you think that was funny? did I ask you to protect me with your life?”

Arya tried so hard to stop the tears from falling freely from her eyes but she failed, she failed hard..

Kyle suddenly pulled her into his arms stroking her back gently..

“I’m sorry.. I didn’t know what else to do Kyle..”

“Just promise me that you won’t ever risk your life this way again…”

She sniffed back “I can’t promise that Kyle.. I’m really sorry”..
