Chapter 36
THIRD PERSON
Lashnia Guirro
After a month, everyone was surprised that Lia came out of her room after being locked up for a month.
“Lady Lashnia, where are you going?”
“I’m going to see my mother,”
Carrying the pain from the death of her baby, she has no other thought but to take revenge on everyone.
Lia went to her mother’s house. Her mother was very happy when her daughter visited her but Lia felt differently. She had a different purpose to her visits.
“Lia,” her mom was about to hug her when she stepped back a little.
“I’m not here to hug you. Where’s your daughter?” Her face had no emotion as she looked at her mom.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Your sister Sydney? She’s-
“Shut it. She’s not the one I’m looking for. Your adopted,”
“Ria? She’s not here anymore. She’s gone,”
“Really? So it’s pointless for me to come here,” she turned her back on her mother and walked out of the house.
Her mom was in pain while looking at her daughter coldly walking away from her.
‘When can I hug you darling? When will you forgive me?’ thoughts lingering in her mind.
While Lia was driving, she called her men to find Ria. She’s mad for what had happened to her life. “Find Rialyn Loverio. Report me her whereabouts immediately,” she said before hanging up.

LIA POV
(The night that Lia and Uteir had sex. Lia thought that it was Steven she’s fvcking and not Uteir.)
The next morning I woke up alone in the room. I looked for Steven because I knew he was with me but I couldn’t find his shadow so I asked Uteir to find him.
Uteir said, Steven has returned to the Philippines so I also went back home.
I tried to look for him for a month but I couldn’t locate him. And then I found out that I was pregnant. I was happy because Steven and I were going to be parents. I was so happy even if Uteir claimed that he was the father… Well…I didn’t believe him cause he’s crazy.
It was Steven’s baby but everything changed. My baby died and it’s everyone’s fault.
When my phone rings, I pick it up to answer.
“Ma’am Lia,”
“We found her. I’ll send you her address,”
After receiving the text message, I immediately drove the car to the bitch’s location.
Since it wasn’t that far, I was able to get to her instantly. But I stopped immediately when I saw her sitting outside the apartment with her little belly bulge. She’s obviously pregnant.
For unknown reason, fear crept into my mind gain like a virus eloping my whole system. I’m hoping that suspicion was not true. I was praying that she has another boyfriend who got her pregnant. After all, she’s a b*tch.
I got out of the car after parking it. I slowly approached her.
She hasn’t noticed me yet. She’s smiling like an idiot and suddenly, something within me wanted to cut her head off.
But then, I saw the ball coming in her direction, I immediately blocked my hand to prevent her from being hit. She looked at me and to the ball I was holding.
“I’m sorry,” the dirty kids said while taking the ball from my hand.
“It’s fine. Just be careful next time,” I said.
Ria looked at me with a relief while she was hugging her tummy.
“Miss, thank you. If it wasn’t for you, I might have hit the ball,”
“It’s okay,”
“Umm… can I buy you a food for saving me earlier?”
“Yeah sure,”
“What’s your name by the way?”
“Lia,”
“Our names sound similar. I’m Ria. So why are you here?”
“Umm… I’m just passing by,”
“Is that so? It’s nice meeting you Lia,”
Yeah, nice meeting you b*tch

RIA POV
Currently
“Do you want sweets?” I nodded when Vios offered me that. I’ve been craving chocolate cake for a while now. I just can’t get it because there are a lot of people trying to suck me in.
Vios got me with a slice of cake and he put it down in front of me.
“Where are you going?” I asked when I saw that he was about to leave.
“I haven’t even left yet, but here you are missing me right away,” I pinched him on his arm and he winced. What is this guy blabbering about? Can’t he filter his mouth?
“I’m just going somewhere for a while. Bye,” he kissed my cheek before leaving. I met Steven’s eyes darted at me, and he looked…angry? I raised an eyebrow at him but I panicked when I saw him approaching me.
“Hi babe, don’t you miss me?” he said with a forehead furrowed. His jaw tightened and he looked like drank. Did he drink too much?
“Why are you here?”
“Because I’m invited here too. You? Don’t you miss me anymore?”
He’s wasted. I don’t know what his problem is.
“Go away Steven. We’re done!”
“What? Who told you that?” I can really see the veins in his neck. Obviously he’s holding back his anger towards me.
I stood up. I need to excuse myself.
“I’m sorry. But I need to go,”
I looked at Steven and shook my head. “If you don’t want to leave, then I’ll leave,” I turned my back on him and marched away.
“Ma’am, are we going home?” I gave the bag I was carrying to Gemma, my secretary.
“Yes,” I said.
Before we could even get close to my car, someone’s grabbed my hand and pulled me on the corner.
I was surprised to see Steven.
“What is your problem?”
“You. You are my problem woman!” he snapped.
“How? I didn’t do anything wrong to you,”
“Yes you did something wrong with me!”
What? Is he crazy?
“You know what? You’re going crazy,” I tried to take back my hand that he held but he just tightened it.
“What? Let me go!”
“No! Let’s talk Ria!”
“Talk? We don’t have anything to talk about anymore. You’ve already finished everything about us, Steven, so we don’t have anything to talk about. Actually, we should ignore each other now.”
“We have something to talk, Ria. It’s Hivo!” He shunned me out by mentioning the name of our son.
“I want to see my son. I want to be with my son,” his face was full of pleading.
“Son? You don’t have a son, Steven. He’s dead as you said before!”
I hold back the tears that are about to come out again. I’m done crying. So what’s this? Why am I crying?
“I’m sorry,” his voice cracked. I was surprised to see tears in his eyes.
“I lied,” he added.
I want to ask why? Why did he do that? Why did he lie that day? But I stopped myself. Whatever his reasons are, I don’t care anymore.
“Save your explanation by yourself. I don’t need that. I’ve made up my mind, so you won’t see him. You won’t see Hivo ever again.”
“No! I disgaree. I’m his father!” he whined.
“You never became a father to him,” I said and turned away from him.
It was very painful to hear those words from him. It carved not only in my mind, but also in my heart.
He doesn’t know what pain and suffering we went through. I wish he was there to sympathize with us, but he wasn’t. He was watching over another woman.
His children are fine. I have provided their needs. I can give them a beautiful and luxurious life. So there is no reason for him to come back into our lives. And besides, he chose Amanda. Why can’t he be a father to his family?
“If you still don’t stop, I’ll see you in court,” I said before getting into the car and leave him there alone. I took a deep breath and wiped the tears that fell from my eyes.
Like I said 3 years ago, he didn’t just abandon one child. Hivo wasn’t the only one he abandoned. Because the day he said those hurtful words to me, I was carrying a child in my womb coming from his flesh and blood.
“It’s too late Steven… way too late.”
