What was he doing here? It was too early for any nonsense argument. I was about to ask him what he wanted but Ethan was staring at me with lust.

I realised that I just came out of the bathroom with only my towel on and my hair and body. Water was dripping and the idiot was busy gaping at me.

Ethan Pov

I could not sleep at all that night so I decided to apologise to Raven and my daughter. I left my house very early, when I got there I was so nervous. 

I mean I am early, if she is still sleeping, maybe I should call her, or I should just knock. I knocked and this unknown lady came out, she was just smiling at me. 

“Oh, you must be the infamous Ethan! I’m Amanda. I’m sure you-” before she could finish what she was saying Raven came down asking who was at the door. 

She looked shocked to see me but I was staring at her body. She was just in her towel and it looks like she just took her bath but, damn she looks beautiful. 

How I wish the towel would just fall off, I’m such a perverted man, but I just love what I was seeing. 

Her friend had to whack me on my head to snap me out of my dirty thoughts.

I turned to Raven and squeaked out a Hi. ‘Damn hormones!’

“Sorry for coming to your place so early, I just wanted to apologize for what happened last night”. 

Raven looked at me and said, “You don’t need to apologize to me but your daughter.

Before I could say something else Blue came downstairs and saw us. She went to her mother and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek. 

“Good morning mama” she greeted.

“Morning dear, how did you sleep?” She asked.

“Like a baby mom”. She then turned and greeted her aunt. 

She turned to me and suddenly said, “Good morning daddy”, smiling. 

Hearing her say that I couldn’t help but smile at her in love. She just called me daddy, that’s right I’m your dad sunshine!

I looked at Raven who was smiling as well. She looked at me waiting for me to reply to her. I got on my knees and said, “Morning sunshine! Sleep well?”.

She smiled at me and replied, “Fine daddy”

“Sunshine Daddy’s sorry for what happened last night”. 

She just looked at me and said, ” I forgive you, daddy.” She hugged me.

“So does anyone want breakfast?”, her friend asked us. Blue was the first to say yes we ate together as a family without arguing and I got to know more about my princess.

Raven asked me if I was not going to my office and I told her no and that I wanted to spend some time with my daughter if that is alright with her and she could also join us. 

She looked at me and said no, she has to go to work. Work! What work? When did she start working?

She was staying alone she had to work to survive stupid me. I hit my head then she left us to get dressed and said bye to us.

I looked at my daughter and asked her if she wanted to go to the park. She was so happy, then I got a call from my office telling me I had to come to the office because of an important meeting. 

I told my assistant to cancel it but it was very important. I looked at my daughter. She was sad thinking I was not going to the park with her, but I had a better idea.

I was going to my office for an important meeting and took my princess with me. I am taking her to my office since she is the heir to my empire and I wanted to show her where I work.

When I got there people were busy staring at me and my princess, talking among themselves like: 

‘Who is the little girl?’ 

‘Why is our boss smiling like that?’

‘She looks exactly like him!’

‘Is she his daughter?’    

I just rolled my eyes. These people can gossip. I took my daughter to my private elevator and she started asking, “Daddy, why are they looking at me like that? Is there anything wrong with what I am wearing?”

I told her, “No princess, you look beautiful in what you are wearing”.

When we got to my office I told her to sit down and wait for me while I attended the meeting. I told her that if she needed anything she should ask my assistant.

I went for the boring meeting and have been sitting here with different CEOs trying to make an important deal. Some of them here are my childhood friends (Samantha and Theo) since their parents gave them their company to run. They have been trying to make deals with other companies including mine.

Then the door to the conference room burst open. Blue ran, crying her eyes out. My heart constricted in pain seeing my daughter cry.

She ran to me and jumped on my lap. Her little hands winded around my neck and her cute head rested on the crook of my neck.

“What happened to you sunshine?”I whispered, afraid she would run away from me too. 

“D-daddy she called me a batthad (bastard). Mommy said it’s a bad word!”, she whispered in my ear pointing at my assistant. White-hot rage filled me. 

“How dare you talk to my child like that! YOU ARE FIRED!”. 

Everyone in the room was shocked. I might have forgotten to mention that I have a daughter. 

My friends gave me a look saying they wanted to know more about it. I just nodded and continued cuddling with Blue.

I told my princess to sit with me during the meeting. After the meeting everyone was tired and hungry. 

This is what my assistant is supposed to do, to book a place for us to eat and complete the contract by signing. Even the meeting was not supposed to be in my company. Since she forgot to do her job well, more reason for her to be fired.

My daughter, who was cuddled in my arms, looked at them and said, “Well I know a place where you can eat. They have the best food ever! If you all like to go, it’s not far from here”.  

They just grinned at her and told her to take them there. We all went in our separate cars. I was staring at my daughter, she was smiling. 

” Sunshine, do you and mommy go there quite often?” I asked.

“Yes, daddy! Mommy takes me when I’m a good girl” she said with excitement evident in her voice. 

When we got there I was amazed by the place. It’s very beautifully decorated, even the others can’t argue about the place. If the outside of the restaurant is on one level, the interior is just on a new one!

We sat down and were ready to order when I saw who was taking our order. I was shocked

It was Raven. With a badge that said ‘Owner’. What the heck?

She was equally surprised like me. I asked, “You work here?”.
