Chapter 1208
Brittany's eyes lit up when she saw her son approaching. Releasing Isaac, she hurried over to Daniel's side.
Isaac remained silent, a smirk playing at the edge of his lips.
Daniel, mindful of Brittany's pregnancy, stopped a yard away, extending the bouquet of sunflowers he held: "Mom, flowers for you."
Brittany's heart melted at the gesture, reaching out to pinch her son's cheek gently, "Sweetheart, thank you so much."
Daniel beamed, his eyes sparkling with joy.
Before Brittany could properly admire the flowers, Isaac took them from her hands, "The doc mentioned pregnant women should avoid flowers, allergies and all that jazz." Brittany just sighed, a bit taken aback by the sudden intervention.
"Dad, mom loves sunflowers the most!" Daniel huffed, accusingly, "You're just jealous!"
Isaac, unfazed and finding amusement in the situation, teased, "Aren't you supposed to be sweet on Abby? How come she didn't get any flowers?"
Daniel pouted, not having a comeback.
Brittany intervened, patting Isaac, "Enough, are you really getting jealous over our son?"
Isaac, ever the cool character, simply called over Yuri, acknowledging him with a nod, "Let's head home."
Daniel had missed Brittany terribly during their time apart.
On their way back to the Salter family estate, Daniel nestled into Brittany's embrace, whispering about recent happenings. Brittany's eyes were filled with nothing but love and joy for her son, a stark contrast to Isaac who sat beside them with the sunflowers, seemingly impatient yet, upon closer inspection, there was a hidden hint of delight in his demeanor. They arrived at the grand Salter Manor.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
As Brittany and Daniel stepped out of the car, they were greeted by Derek Bishop and Kari Malone, who had been eagerly waiting for their return.
"Brittany, welcome back home."
Kari embraced Brittany tightly, "Finally, you're back."
It had been months since Brittany and Kari last met, and the reunion was filled with mixed emotions.
Brittany, trying to hold back her tears, responded, "I'm back."
Hannah Chester was about to hug Brittany but was stopped by Derek, "Be careful, with the baby and all."
Only then did Brittany notice Hannah's prominently pregnant belly, easily six or seven months along.
"When did this happen?" Brittany was genuinely surprised.
Hannah laughed it off, "A while back, didn't want to bother you while you were abroad. Wanted to surprise you."
"Let's go inside," someone
suggested, and the group made their way into the Salter Manor, where a lavish dinner had been prepared by the household staff.
Noel Salter and Tallulah were already there, waiting.
"Mr. Salter."
Tallulah, dressed in a simple yet elegant white sweater, greeted them with a warm smile.
Isaac waved off the formality, "You're married to Noel now, just call me big brother."
Tallulah agreed, "Alright, big brother."
The family sat down to a lively dinner, with Brittany, Hannah, and Kari catching up on months' worth of news.
Hannah, now seemingly bold in

Isaac's presence, chimed in, "Mr. Salter, we'd like to have a girls' night with Bri, share some gossip.ts that alright with you?"
Isaac nodded, "Sure, have fun."
The three women, satisfied with their plan, finished their meal and retreated to a spacious guest room for their private chat. Their conversation wandered from personal updates to the curious dynamics within Craneville, stretching late into the night. "Speaking of which, Tallulah and Noel seem a bit off. Are they really married?"
"Yes," Hannah whispered conspiratorially, "But, I get the feeling Tallulah doesn't quite fancy Noel-"
"And Noel doesn't seem all that into Tallulah either," Kari added somberly, "Feels more like a business transaction than a marriage."
Brittany had noticed it too. The way
Tallulah and Noel interacted was
more akin to colleagues or

loving couple. Tallulah always seemed on edge, hardly the
demeanor of a content spouse.
"We'll leave them to sort it out themselves. We've got our own drama to watch," Brittany joked lightly, then the conversation turned more personal. "Brittany, have you and Mr. Salter officially gotten back together?"
"Yes."
"So, when's the wedding?"
