The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna

Chapter 159

“Mom, what is wrong with my eyes?Daisy asked, confused by her mother’s astonished expression.

Sheridan remembered Athena’s words that Daisy would be able to possess her full powers by the age of eighteen.

Despite having done amazing things over the years like stopping wars with her powers or leading the war in others, Athena had insisted that Daisy had still not explored all her powers.

“It changed color but don’t worry. Grandma would give us an explanation. Are you feeling okay?” Sheridan was so happy and proud of her daughter, embracing her profoundly.

Any she–wolf’s greatest happiness was meeting their wolf on their eighteenth birthday and equally finding their mate.

Sheridan had not been able to find hers immediately she turned eighteen but hoped her daughter would.

Daisy yanked her excitedly. “It’s my birthday and I hope to find my mate.”

Though her eyes were on someone, she dared not tell her mother about it without revealing the horrid encounter.

Sheridan was a bit skeptical about the mate thing, due to the prophecies hovering over her daughter.

“Sure, your mate,” she forced a smile. “Happy Birthday, Daisy, I have a present for you in your room.”

“Thanks mom, you are amazing, and the best mom anyone could ever ask for. I hope Blair and my seven cousins have arrived,” Daisy asked when she saw the number of luxurious cars parked at her entrances.

Her seven cousins were fifteen by now and Blair and Blake were fourteen.

Yet, they behaved like adults. They had drivers bringing them over because their parents would not allow them to bend the rules but aside from that, they were rather great drivers for their age.

Niel was there to receive them and the guys were already taking a few tidbits from Alpha Nick.

Over the years, they had even spent months at the Dark Moon pack to learn some battle skills from Alpha Nick.

“Daisy,” Blair met Daisy at the entrance and the two embraced each other. Daisy had been a big cousin to all her cousins, protecting and loving them all the way.

The boys had grown taller, even with the age difference, looking older and muscular but Daisy could still take them down anytime.

Yeah, she wasn’t the big cousin for nothing. “Happy Birthday and I have good news for you.” Excitement laced Blair’s voice as she spoke, Daisy could not wait to hear it.

“Then let’s go to my room. I need to shower.”

The maids were all up and about and the cake had even been brought. The two went to Daisy’s room and she saw the stunning dress her mother designed for her on the bed with its accessories.

She was going to pick it up when Blair noticed something, asking.

“Daisy, what happened to your eyes? And your bracelet. When did you change it?”

Daisy walked to the mirror and looked at her wrist. It was as if her eyes took the color of the bracelet.

“Let’s go talk to grandma.”

She was already out of the room with Blair following her as they met Athena on the stairs with Sheridan.

Blair had had trained a lot with Daisy, Niel, Alpha Nick and Sheridan, as she frequented the Dark Moon Pack, just as Daisy did the river bed pack

Athena turned around when she heard the closing of the door to Daisy’s room before she rushed to the middle of the stairs to embrace her grandmother.

“Happy Birthday, Daisy,” Athena said after Daisy finally released her.

Athena had grown a lot of gray hairs over the years but was strong–looking. “And how are you, Blair and where is Blake?” She said asked affection, Blair smiled as she and Daisy embraced Athena again.

Their granny had been a strong pivotal figure I their lives, guiding them and teaching them a lot of things.

“I’m fine granny. Blake is with the boys and Alpha Nick. They are planning something special.”

Athena removed the now transparent emerald bracelet from Daisy’s wrist. “Daisy, you no longer need the bracelet. Your wolf has harvested your powers and that is the reason for the change in your eye color.”

Daisy did not seem amused at how permanent her eye color was going to be. “Then how would he recognize me,‘ she thought. Her mind went back to when she was eight.

Years ago.

It was during Blair and Blake’s fifth birthday parties that a girl attacked Blair and ran into the woods. Daisy had chased after hér.

“Stop there,” she yelled from behind, her pace quickening. The girl did not stop but her pace could not match up to Daisy, as she caught up with her.

“How dare you ruin Blair’s dress?” Daisy demanded. The girl was four years older and taller than her, offended that Daisy spoke to her like that.

“I didn’t ruin it. I just poured the adults‘ red wine into her white dress and punched her in the face. Isn’t it a nice birthday gift?”

Daisy was upset and slapped her. That was the first perfect dress she designed and decided to gift it to her only female cousin, who became her sister and best friend, though younger.

She has always been protective of her cousins. “You shall go and apologize.” She grabbed the girl, Asena, by the hair and began to pull her back to the party but to her surprise, only the hair remained in Daisy’s hand as she dashed into the other side of the woods
