The Agent’s Badboy

Chapter 33 The day Yegor lost his cool

“It has been three days, almost four! I don’t fucking care Darko, gather our men. We’ve tried everything, looked everywhere. One of them must be a snitch.” Yegor stands up and runs his fingers through his hair in frustration.

He has been slowly breaking apart since the first day they found out she was missing. That day Nail called when he kept on waiting for her at the parking lot after her office hour. Somehow he knows that she had been taken, it was all too quiet. He didn’t know how, but he knew.

And he was right.

All kinds of scenarios were playing in his mind, honestly, he didn’t want to know how she has been surviving to that day. He knows she’s an agent, he knows she’s tough, and it scares him even more.

The things that Nestor can do to her, he couldn’t even start to imagine.

“They would send her remains if she’s dead, I know she’s still alive.” He groaned stressing out more, wanting to find her quicker.

Yegor knows for sure that they would send remains, cause he had done it too many times before.

That’s what they do to make a point.

Zasha was there with them, she was trying to be supportive and help in any way she can.

Her dad was missing. She had given all of his known warehouses and properties, to which Darko knows most of them already since he’s been delivering goods and sending his guys to pick stuff up from her dad’s men.

At first, they were blaming the Albanians, then switched when they found out that her dad was missing. Yegor blows a fuse that day knowing they had lost a day worth of search and had to start from zero.

But they found out quickly that Karla was taken by three men from the public library.

Margot has been trying to get Yegor to rest and have his meals but he was so engrossed in her search that he was skipping breakfast, sometimes dinner.

The mob heiress truly wished that Karla can be found soon. Though she hadn’t known Karla for long but she had enjoyed her company. They had connected in a weird way and Zasha had taken alike to her awkward style of socializing where she had learned that Karla was as real as it gets.

Unlike her friend who said one thing but then leave her when she needed them the most. Zasha had told them that she didn’t like the idea of being married off to some mob boss, while her friends all agreed that she was exaggerating and that she should listen to her dad. The same dad who slapped her so hard that her lip was cut and her cheek bruised.

Zasha stayed behind while she watches Yegor and his men. Darko was conversing with Nail and would sometimes look back at Zasha, making sure she was comfortable with the situation. And the underboss was to her side when he saw her looking out the window as if she was looking at a ghost.

Her hand reached out to her lover, calling him in silent, telling him to come to her.

“Hey, is everything…”

“Him, there’s your snitch. I saw him once at my dad’s office. And I don’t think he was there to do your thing. I remember my dad closing the door as I passed.” Her voice was small as if she didn’t want the man to hear her, while her stare made Darko look at where she was looking. The short bulky guy was laughing as he talks to one of his men, not realizing his life was about to end in a couple of hours.

“Stay here, Margot will know what to do just in case.” Darko ushered her back to The dining area where they still gather.

The underboss was not sure how many men were under the loyalty of the Kuznetsova, he needs her safe and he gave Margot the look once they reached her side.

“Please keep her safe for me.” That was all he said and she took her away from the room knowingly. Zasha didn’t say a word and follow the older woman and walked away from her man.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Karla was shivering with a fever. She was damped and cold and covered in her own urine, she refused to cry but finally breakdown after another bucket of cold freezing water was thrown at her.

And it wasn’t long until she fainted as the cold and freezing air hits her.

That night she was dreaming of her handsome mob boss but woke up crying less than an hour later when a rat was biting on her toe.

It was gone when she carelessly took it and throw it away, though it didn’t get far since she was struggling with her strength.

“I should’ve… not thrown… it away, I should… eat it. So hungry… day three Karla, or maybe four?… you can do… this. You’ve been… through worse. Think… of a warm place…”

She kept on talking to herself, crying in between words, shivering, teeth clattering. Karla was sobbing so hard that she could hear a man laughing in front of her cell.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

“You’re not so tough anymore aren’t you?”

She detested the man that she just looks in his direction and waited for him to say his words

“Is it the money? tell me how much, I’m sure I can match his offer. Yegor is a cheap bastard I will give you more than what he’s offering.”

The old man looked at her while still standing from the other side of her cell.

“Drink…” she finally said making Nestor laugh.

“I’m going to give you something better this time. Just to give you more comfort.”

That was when she saw another man come with a syringe. He gave it to Nestor who smirked when he told the tall man to grab her and hold out her hand.

Karla tried to resist but she was too weak. Tears were coming down from her eyes, she could feel the shackles scraping her ankle. She wet her pants again when the vision of her leaving the world was actually scaring her.

Yegor…

He was on her mind the moment Nestor stick her with the needle. And it didn’t take long until she feels the wave of rush surging throughout her body and she shook her head when she realized that he had injected her with liquid meth.

It was worse than dying.

“No!”

“Slow painful death.” He patted her wet hair and leave her cell laughing like a villain.

Karla was feeling the rush before the high, she knows liquid meth was the most dangerous and she knows about the worst kind of torture that hostages could endure. She groaned when she was extra sensitive and felt her heart beating a million miles per hour.

“Fuck!” she cursed when the high hit her.

Though she was aching from her hunger but the high suddenly made her forget about it. They were killing her slowly, and would probably throw her under the bridge and let her die with the rest of the meth addicts.

All in good times, Karla.

Soon…

At that same time, Yegor was beating the life out of the man who took her right after he gave them the location of her whereabouts.

His knuckles were bleeding, but he kept on punching his face until he was unrecognizable. He finished it off as he grabbed his hair and bashes his head to the cement flooring of his lush beautiful garden.

Darko watched and be there for his brother, while Nail was doing as he was told and prepared their small army to get their future madam.

With his rage, everyone on his payroll knows that their boss will take her as his wife, and no one would dare say otherwise.
