The atmosphere was a little tense. The Deputy Director, Mr Yang quietly went out.

The director knocked on the the book of script on his hand and circled around Song Qinghuan a couple of times. Song Qinghuan still stood there in a neither humble nor pushy way, allowing herself to be observed.

In the end, he laughed, “You are talented, but you still have weak spots.”

Everyone was busy in the room. Xiaoli led Song Qinghuan through the inner corridor and came to a halt in front of the makeup room. Xiaoli knocked on the door. Only then did Song Qinghuan notice that the whole floor used as the audition hall had been renovated by the hotel to meet the needs of the crew.

The door was opened from inside. The room was very warm. Yu Le was standing in the doorway, wearing a long black shirt, a pair of  jeans which covered her slender legs, and a pair of boots. There was a smile on her beautiful face.

Xiao Li smiled and introduced, “Ms Yu, this is Song Qinghuan. She auditions for the role of Concubine Yan. Thank you.”

Yu Le nodded and extended her hand towards Song Qinghuan, “Hi, my name is Yu Le, the makeup artist in the crew. just call me Ms Yu.”

“Hello Ms Yu. I’m Song Qinghuan. Sorry for the trouble today.”

Yu Le turned to let her enter. At that moment, everyone in the room came to a halt, staring at Song Qinghuan. She roared with her hands on her hips, “Come on, everyone! Change her clothes. Stylists, prepare to work!”

Someone shouted, “Ms Yu, Xiao Mi and I will help her wear makeup, right?”

Yu Le looked at Song Qinghuan who had been taken to change, and shook her finger, “No, I do it.”

Squinting her eyes, Song Qinghuan was standing in the dressing room. Two female assistants were helping her to change into a bright red costume. She felt that she was destined to have a connection with red things.

Song Qinghuan rolled her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror. It was the worst for an actor/actress to be stereotyped by others. Fortunately, the role she played had two sides. One was good and the other was evil, which was challenging.

The news that a newcomer had auditioned for Concubine Yan and the director allowed her to do a dry run was getting around. All the members of the crew in the base had known it within ten minutes.

The crew of Xian Ni Ⅱ started shooting a month ago. The whole team was on lockdown, and reporters were not permitted to interview. They were shooting the film quietly.

This game was too popular. Anyone who had ever played the game or had watched the movie would know that although the role of Concubine Yan was a villain, it was very eye-catching. If the actress played well, she would get a large number of fans. However, if she didn’t, she would come under fire from game fans and movie fans.

There were both its pros and cons.

It was well-known that Concubine Yan was a beauty with both good and evil sides. She was a  pitiable and weak girl in Xian Ni Ⅰ. However, she became very forceful after she became devil in Xian Ni Ⅱ. Unfortunately, not all those who had a reversal in their life counter-attacking were the winners of life. She was imprisoned in the Devil Suppressing Tower.

All the actors and actresses knew that it was not a simple character and only highlighted the spirit of the movie.  Therefore, everyone thought it would be portrayed by Jing Yu. They never expected that another girl replaced her.

When Jing Yu went off the stage, she found that her assistant want to say something. She took a sip of tea from her cup and asked, “What’s the matter?”

The assistant looked around and whispered, “Sister Jing, I heard that someone has auditioned for the role of Concubine Yan.”

“Oh?” Jing Yu put back the lid of the cup, and the assistant immediately handed a heating pad. She leaned against the back of the comfortable chair with a smile on her face.

“Is it your role, isn’t it?” The assistant felt a little displeased, and even more displeased that the one who came to audition was a girl who was similar to Jing Yu. She was very angry with the girl.
