Stop, Your Grace!

Chapter 14 The Full Moon Night

After a long detour, Melody finally got on the bed and could not calm down for a long time.

Damn Kevin!

Such an arrogant man!

Squeezing the pillow, Melody was still unable to let out her dissatisfaction.

She sighed and looked at the ceiling, depressed.

Tomorrow will be the so-called full moon night. What kind of experiment are they going to do? Is it possible to let her go after doing it?

Melody was praying that everything would go well tomorrow. Otherwise, she would met be able to escape…

Another day without going out, Melody was like a prisoner waiting for the judgement to come. She could do nothing but suffering and waiting.

When the evening came, Melody clearly felt something was wrong in the castle.

There were fewer servants, and finally the whole castle was quiet and somewhat strange.

Although curious, Melody, who had stayed in the room all the time, still did not dare to go out until a knock on the door came.

‘Knock, knock, knock’…

Melody opened the door and saw Berg standing at the door with a group of servants.

“Miss Lowe, it’s time. Please come with us.”

Melody stood there and asked curiously, “Excuse me, where are you taking me?”

“Please follow us.” Berg made a gesture of “please”.

Although full of curiosity, Melody followed him out of the room.

Through a long corridor, Melody felt a gloomy and horrible atmosphere around her at every step.

” Berg, why does the castle look so weird tonight?” Melody asked.

Berg stopped suddenly and did not answer. He stretched out his hand and pushed open a door beside him. “Miss Lowe, here we are.”

“…”

What exactly do they want to do? Why does everyone look strange?

Melody entered the room with heavy steps. As soon as she entered, she saw a row of maids in front of her. Two of the maids came out. One was holding a suit of clothes, while the other smiled and said to her, “Miss Lowe, please bathe and change your clothes.”

Melody did not refuse, but followed the maid into a large bath in fear and trembling.

She bathed in an orderly way, and finally changed into the “clothes” prepared by the maid for her, a nearly-transparent white gown.

Melody stunned at the suit and asked in surprise, “Am I gonna wear the?”

“Yes.” The maid nodded.

“Why do you want me to dress like this?” A bad feeling hit Melody.

“We are just doing what we were told to do. Please don’t embarrass us, miss.” The maid looked at her with a blank face and said calmly.

“…” Melody was speechless. Is there any difference between wearing and not wearing this dress?

However, if she refuse to wear it, she would have to soak in the pool. After several struggles, she finally compromised.

Coming out of the bathroom, all the maids retreated, leaving her alone in the room.

The room was very large. The decorations were all luxury ornaments.

Melody walked around and studied every handicraft curiously, just when she was interested in a famous painting, she felt a cold wind.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

A cold wind swept through, and all the lights in the room were extinguished suddenly.

Melody shivered with fear. Then she heard a heavy footstep, ‘Da Da Da …’

“Who is it? Who is there?” Melody’s voice spread in this dark environment and no one responded. This undoubtedly was terryfying.

‘Da Da Da…’

The footsteps were getting closer and closer. Melody covered her ears and squatted down on the ground. “Don’t come here, don’t come here!”

There was no response, and then the footsteps disappeared.

Melody regained some courage and opened her eyes slightly. Through the moonlight outside the window, a tall figure appeared. Obviously, there was a man standing behind her.
