Chapter 84. Found
Noah POV
That phone call alerted me to my senses
My first instinct was to call Ed, the head of the security team tasked to watch over my family.
If the children skipped past their surveillance. I do not think what I would do to all of them.
“Where are my children?” I barked on the phone when the line got through.
At the same time, I was half–running to the elevator to bring me down to the lobby.
“Sir, the children sneaked out of their house to find you.”
“And what are you all doing?” I bellowed, quite worked up by the idea that children managed to sneak out of their house undetected.
Who knew what danger they would meet outside?
“Sir. They were looking for you.” That shut me up.
“One of the men overheard them talking. He said the children are afraid that you would cast them aside because you have a girlfriend, and their mommy dating another man.”
That shut me up.
This is what happened when Briana and I were not careful about our relationships.
“Go on,” I told Ed, choking on the words.
“At first, they looked for you at your house, but since it was empty, they did not linger. They started hailing a cab, so one of our men decided to bring them to you.”
“Are they the ones the reception called about?” I asked, sighing,
“Yes, sir.”

I sighed, but a smile formed on my lips.
Here, I was feeling downtrodden because I had been feeling miserable by a decision I recently made. But now, my energizers are h
“Chris, call Briana and inform her the children are here,” I told my assistant before sprinting away.
The elevator doors opened, and I got in. Brent, Langley, and Chris were right behind me. I could also hear Chris talking in the background. He called Briana to inform her about the children’s arrival at my hotel’s doorstep.
While I waited, I kept tapping the wall with the tip of my finger in impatience.
At last, the elevator pinged, and the door opened to the lobby. I marched out, eyes scanning the crowd. My eyes squinted when I noticed a group of people by the lounge area.
They were in a semicircle, gushing at the kids.
My children, on the other hand, looked behaved. They were seated together on the couch, waiting. They had this bored expression on their faces that the onlookers found so cute.
“Oh my! Whose children are they?”
“They looked adorable!”
An elderly matron even had the nerve to get close to my children to ask, “Are you lost, sweetie?”
My son, Riley, shook his head. “No, ma’am. We are waiting for our daddy.” And he smiled beguilingly at her.
The other two mimicked him and flashed the spectators a cute smile that lifted everybody’s mood.
“Awww! That is so sweet!” Another exclaimed, clutching at her chest.
I knew that my children would break hearts one day. It was all in the genes. Their mother is gorgeous.
“Excuse us, please,” Chris said while he pushed people aside to give way to me.

Riley, Brixx, and Mason looked up when they heard Chris’s voice, and their eyes. twinkled when they spotted me.
“Daddy!”
“Daddy!”
“Daddy!”
The three jumped from the couch and ran excitedly toward me.
Their excitement was contagious. Their glee echoed and reverberated in the lobby, creating a melodious sound that was pleasing to my ears.
I crouched low on my knees and spread my arms wide to receive them.
They went into my embrace. Their little arms wrapped around my neck, arms, and shoulders.
“Daddy! We found you!” Brixx exclaimed happily.
“Yeah, you found me. But you shouldn’t leave your house without informing anyone.” I told them with a hint of reproach.
They took their arms away and hung their heads low.
“Sorry, Daddy. Are we in trouble now?” Mason asked. His voice sounded timid.
I grabbed their little bodies to my chest and shook my head, filling my lungs with their natural scent.
“Of course not. But you shouldn’t do this again, okay?” I told them sternly.
They all bobbed their heads in agreement. I took Riley’s hands with my right. Mason took my other free hand while Brixx took Riley’s hands.
The four of us walked together while people gave way to us.
The woman who talked to them earlier approached me.
“Your children are adorable, and I would like to get them contracted.” She fished out a name card from her bag and handed it to me.
