Sir madame has run away again (Lily and Carson)

Chapter 386

Chapter 386

“It’s a secret. You’ll know when you get home.”

When I got home I saw Dylan’s car in the driveway while another red Porsche was beside it. So I was

pretty sure one of the guests must be Dylan, but I had no idea who the other guest was.

As I walked thoughtfully down the paved driveway in the courtyard, my dad and Dylan’s laughter could

be heard coming from the living room. As soon as I got to the door, I saw my dad sitting across from

Dylan on the couch, while my mom was sitting next to my dad. Meanwhile, there was another woman

sitting next to Dylan, who was none other than Callie.

Dylan was the first to greet me upon my arrival. “Lily, where did you go today?” This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

“I went shopping with Isabella.” 1 lied effortlessly.

Meanwhile, Callie happily greeted me as well. “Lily, you are finally home!”

With a smile plastered on my face, I glanced at Callie before saying, “Turns out my mother was

referring to you when she told me over the phone that we had an important guest!”

“Oh, dammit! How could I be so important!” Callie was quite witty.

you are! If my memory

“Of course

, my

memory does not fail me, this must be the first time you visit this house.”

However, Callie snapped back as soon as she heard what I said, “This is not my first time visiting this

place as I used to come here when I was younger.”

My dad took up the conversation with a smile. “Yes, Callie used to come here when she was little, but

she never came back after she went abroad.”

“True! I thought I should pay my aunt, uncle and cousin a visit since I couldn’t do that while I was

abroad.”

Oh, for God’s sake! It’s not your first day arriving in the country, and you didn’t even visit my father

when he was hospitalized, so what’s the meaning of that? I looked at Dylan, then at Callie, impeccably

dressed. That’s when I remembered Isabella telling me about Aunt Luna’s plans to marry Dylan and

Callie. With a mental taunt, I thought to myself, So Callie is here tonight on a blind date!

Callie could certainly improve her family’s financial situation if she could marry someone as rich as

Dylan, an idea I was very disdainful of. “I’ll check if Mrs. Fant needs help in the kitchen.”

“Since when did Lily learn to cook?” Dylan looked surprised.

“After all, she is married, so of course she can cook!” answered my father.

As soon as she saw me enter the kitchen, Mrs. Fant smiled at me. “Why don’t you keep the guests

company outside?”

“I don’t want. We have nothing in common. There was no need to lie in front of Mrs. Fant.

She laughed before commenting, “You two are just as mismatched as you were when you were kids.”

“And even? I don’t remember much about my childhood, so why don’t you tell me about it?”
