Chapter 97
Not sure about modern medicine, but there was no one in Horington who had better traditional medicinal skills than Bennett. "Sure." Jessica nodded with a smile.
She knew. She always knew.
Jessica knew that Bennett's medical skills were superb ever since he was six.
Of course, she would know. Bennett could tell that her legs and ears were not in great condition just by checking her pulse.
"Hmm? Was your body not in good condition before, Ms. Lockett?
Bennett's eyes were filled with anger when he checked her pulse.
"Yup. It's not that good."
"I can see that. Oh, right. Do you have a problem with your tear glands as well?" "Wow. Have your skills gotten this good now?"Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
Jessica couldn't believe that a small child like him would be so amazing.
"Yup. I'm researching some traditional medicinal skills recently, so I know things that I didn't know before."
"That's amazing. You must be the best out of all your brothers."
Jessica looked so happy right now that her eyes were brimming with happiness.
"Something like that. Those idiots would never comprehend the greatness of medicine. They only know how to research music or some computer stuff. How would they know that medicine is the essence of healing." Bennett loved medicine from the bottom of his heart, and he felt that medicinal skills were the greatest, and nothing could ever be compared to that.
"Yup. I believe you as well," Jessica said as she smiled and ruffled his head again.
"Do you feel better now?"
Trevor walked in, and his eyes were filled with
affection.
He felt happy just by seeing Jessica happy.
"Thank God this didn't affect her mood. If not, I really don't know what to do," Trevor thought.
"I'm sorry to cause so much trouble."
Jessica stood up. She never thought this would happen and felt very apologetic.
"Don't say that. It wasn't even your fault."
Trevor immediately sat beside her and smiled when he said that. He never once thought that it was her fault.
"How did that person die?"
Jessica furrowed her brows and looked at him. Trevor should be able to find out. Nothing could ever get past him with his abilities. "Don't think about what does not concern you, okay?" "Thank you."
"Don't say that either. If you really want to thank me, why not become my personal assistant from now on?" Trevor said with a smile. He was trying to promote her.
"Personal assistant?"
Jessica pursed her lips when she heard that, thinking, "What does that mean? Isn't he too fast
in promoting me?"
"Yup. A personal assistant. I really need one now."
"Why? I don't think I'm fit for the job."
With that, Jessica took the cup from the table and sipped its content. "What's going on with him?" she thought again.
"You fit. I prefer a female assistant anyway."
Trevor gave her the eye and flashed a sly smile..
Jessica was speechless.
She cast her sights downward after that. "Don't tell me he's got something up his sleeves. Well, he
doesn't look like a decent man, anyway."
Trevor looked at Jessica. She was wearing a red and alluring shirt. Her pale white skin, her long lashes, and her beautiful black eyes were all very enticing.
"My wife is really the most beautiful of them all," he thought.
Jessica was still his treasure no
matter what she looked like now and
then. This time, no matter what anyone said, he would never det her go again.
"What? Don't tell me you don't want to? You already lost to me in snooker, and now you're rejecting me? Is making promises you cannot keep a habit of yours? You don't seem the type."
