Salute To The General

Chapter 2823

Chapter 2823

Letting out a gentle sigh, Kraven related how he and Lothar got separated.

Back then, Lothar hurriedly parted ways with Nathan due to a particularly complex problem.

Not long after that, he dismissed Kraven.

Kraven explained, "During that time, Master told me that he had something very important to attend to. In fact, it was so dangerous that he was worried he might not survive. Consequently, he forbade me from going with him and had me wait in the West for his return. After spending three years waiting, I knew I had to do something when he didn't turn up. Hence, I began to inquire about him and travel the world searching for his whereabouts."

Nathan furrowed his brows upon hearing Kraven's words.

He hadn't expected his master to encounter a problem so difficult that the latter had to part ways with Kraven and him.

From his perspective, Lothar was a titan in terms of strength.

The latter is one of the most powerful elite warriors on earth, if not the most powerful. Therefore, if even he finds the matter troublesome, the danger involved must certainly be unimaginable.

Nathan added calmly, "Mr. Macalister, throughout your recent travels around the world to track Master down, have you really not heard any news at all?"

Kraven replied, "I waited in the West for three years before wandering across different nations for another three. It wasn't until recently that I confirmed Master traveled to Ariarica before we lost contact. Unfortunately, I ran out of money just when I wanted to travel there. With no other choice, I went to the lawless Mille Crescent Island to work as an assassin, hoping to gather some funds in order to resume my search. Little did I expect to run into you there."

Pausing briefly, Kraven smiled at Nathan with pride. "After going our separate ways, I knew that you had joined the army. Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how much you've achieved now that we have met again. From the way you look, you must be a navy admiral, right?"

Navy admiral?

was stunned for a fleeting moment before bursting into laughter.

Their response flabbergasted Kraven. "What is it? Did I say something wrong?"

Penny explained with a smile, "Mr. Macalister, you might not be aware of this, but Nathan was already the Commander-In-Chief of the North Army a few years before this. After that, he took on the role of Chief Military Governor one year ago, and now, he is the newly appointed President of Eurasia." Content

Ava, too, couldn't stop herself from giggling. "That's right. Mr. Macalister, Mr. Cross is now the president. The Captain of the National Guard that used to work for him is now a general."

Ava was talking about Colin.

With widened eyes, Kraven stared at Nathan in disbelief.

Given that he lived the life of a wanderer, he seldom paid any attention to current affairs.

Coupled with the fact that he had

been traveling overseas, focused on finding his master, he had no idea who Eurasia's new president was On top of that, it never occurred to him that the disciple his master once took in would one day end up becoming the head of state. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

Overwhelmed by emotions, he swiftly got to his feet and bowed at Nathan. "I apologize for not knowing that you are the nation's new president. Please forgive me."

Nathan, too, got up and helped

Kraven back up before replying sincerely, "MR Macalister, there's no need for this. Regardless of what my station is, you will always be an elder of mine. Besides, isn't a president just a servant of the people? Mr. Macalister, please don't distance yourself from me because of my position. Just treat me as the same Nathan you have always known." Kraven didn't foresee Nathan's rise to such giddy heights, but what surprised him even more was how the latter maintained his humility despite it all. Therefore, he was both moved and filled with pride.

Even though he agreed to do so, he couldn't help speaking to Nathan in a much more respectful tone.

To him, Nathan felt more like his Master's son than his own nephew. Nathan remarked, "Since you learned that Master was in Ariarica last before you lost contact, it's clear that we have to travel there."

Kraven was elated by the news, but a question quickly popped into his mind. "Master, now that you're the head of state with a busy schedule, I don't suppose it's possible for you to travel there with me to look for Master?"
