Painful seduction

Rhea woke up to the horning of a car which she guessed was Cindy’s.

She wondered how long she had slept, she remembered Dementrio Cooking and then they ate together and she complained of being tired.

With Dementrio cuddling her she didn’t remember a thing but then she heard a flick which brought her back to reality .

Cindy entered with smiles as she was surprised to meet Rhea sitting on the couch, looked like she slept there waiting for her return.

‘ where are you coming from?’ Rhea asked immediately.

‘ I thought I told you, I went out to have dinner ‘ she said moving to her room.

‘Did you go to have dinner with Damien?’.

Her question made Cindy turn to look at her, it was really suspicious.

‘Yes, I thought that was what you wanted’.

‘ The plan was to pretend to love him Cindy, not fall madly in love with him’ She yelled .

‘ Don’t blame me Rhea, this was all your plans’ Cindy shouted in anger.

‘Do you even know who Damien is? you are just loving the most greediest person Cindy. His an imposter ‘ Rhea said but she soon regretted it because it left Cindy really angry.

‘ Enough Rhea ! I won’t want you come into my house and say such useless things’ .

‘ This is our house Cindy’ Rhea yelled as she tried to walk into the room but Cindy stopped her before she could move in’.

” Where do you think you’re going?” She asked.

‘Upstairs of course ‘ Rhea answered.

‘ This isn’t your house Rhea, I want you to leave immediately !’.

‘ Are you sending me out because of that fool you are in love with?’.

Cindy found the statement really offensive as she didn’t think twice before slapping Rhea.

She realized what she had done and tried to apologize but Rhea didn’t listen Instead she picked up her phone and left the house.

Cindy tried to follow her still convincing her that it was an accident but Rhea said nothing to her, she ordered a ride and the cab came immediately.

She entered and the car drove off, leaving Cindy with no choice than to follow the car.

She trailed her skillfully without allowing her notice her but then she became surprised when Rhea took another route, she thought she heading for the club.

She continued driving till she saw the cab had stopped in front of a mansion which she hasn’t seen before.

Was Rhea keeping secrets from her? She asked herself.

There was only way to find out , she turned the ignition and drove to where the car parked just in time to meet Rhea paying her fare.

‘ You weren’t supposed to follow me Cindy, remember you ordered me out ‘ Rhea yelled angrily.

‘Am really sorry Cindy , I was really pissed off then’ Cindy said remorseful.

‘ That doesn’t matter now ‘.

‘ Would you rather spend the night with a man than your best friend ?’ Cindy asked sadly.

‘ If his willing to take me in and throw me out whenever his angry, then sure I will take that option ‘ she answered.

The gate opened up for her and Cindy could testify that she had been here before.

Dementrio had already seen the security footage and was waiting for them in the large living room.

He watched them as they entered still arguing.

Cindy saw him and instantly recognized him, she immediately turned to Rhea.

‘Dont tell me you left me to stay with him’ .

Rhea made no reply instead she rushed to the arms of Dementrio and sobbed loudly.

‘She was really a drama queen ‘ .

‘Take it easy Rhea, don’t be a baby now’ Dementrio consoled.

Cindy couldn’t say anything she just watched the drama that displayed after a while she found her voice and managed to say.

‘Whats going on here?’ .

Dementrio freed himself as he stretched out his hands,

‘Am Dementrio, Damien’s brother ” his expression made Cindy shocked as she looked at Rhea.

Dementrio seeing he had touched a sensitive part, apologize and left them alone to talk .

” What… what he just said, Is it really the truth?’ Cindy asked not wanting to believe.

‘That’s what I wanted to tell you, Damien lied to you, he isn’t Axl”s brother’ Rhea opened up .

‘Your lieing right ? Tell me your joking with me!’ she ordered as she held a tight grip on her.

‘I wish I was Cindy but it’s the painful truth. This is the reality ‘ she confirmed.

The distressed Cindy couldn’t do anything, she walked quietly carefully observing her steps without looking at her feet as she sat down heavily , gently placing her hands on her jaw and sobbed heavily.

‘ Why does nature hate me so much Rhea? What have I done wrong?’ she asked sobbing hard not even wanting to dry her tears.

‘ It’s not true Cindy, your just going through a tough moment ‘ Rhea assured as she sat closer to her consoling her .

‘I have no mum, no dad and then the sister I would have gotten can’t even be found, I just have you Rhea ‘.

‘ Don’t worry, we would find your sister and don’t forget you will always have me by your side’ she reassured.

‘ No wonder my heart kept telling me I was doing the wrong thing, Axl isn’t responsible at all’ she declared.

‘ I don’t know about that, but you know anything is possible ‘ .

‘ Damien didn’t give me any proof of Axl assaulting me, he only said he overhead Axl confessing it when he was drunk’ Cindy muttered.

‘Your right Cindy, Axl wasn’t responsible at all’ a voice said and they both turned to see the face of Dementrio wondering how he heard them.

‘How are you so sure about that?’ Cindy asked, she had forgotten all about crying for her misfortunes.

‘ As you know, his my best friend and I know everything about him, Axl wasn’t even in Los Angeles untill a year ago’ he said as he lighted a cigarette.

‘How did you know about my assault?’.

‘Your new boyfriend told me about it’ he paused for a while and then he began the story of how Damien met with him and informed him of using Cindy as a bait to get the wealth making her believe that Axl was responsible for the plan.

‘I knew all this but I didn’t agree, everything he did was behind my back but as they said there is always a second option ‘ He concluded

‘ I can’t believe all these’ .

‘ You don’t have to , maybe Alexia Bachman will convince you’ he said smoking more.

‘Wait… how do you know ?’ she stammered.

‘Best friends know everything, your good in your act , Axl wants to divorce his wife. Goodnight and take care of Rhea’ he declared as he left the room.
