Chapter 51
Chapter 51
Sandra’s POV
I slept with my stepfather as if Javier and Ethan weren’t enough stress. Her behavior stunned her as
she recalled how she was continually hurling herself at the gentleman. She had no guilt. “Welcome
Lucas,” she added hastily, a big grin on her face. Sandra couldn’t forget about last night. So she
pushed herself at him and held him, murmuring, “Do not be shocked Lucas, I am a hugging monster,”
she said to his ear as she clutched him. I realize I’m a jerk, but I did not know the man was going to be
my stepfather. How am I going to deal with both of them? I can’t say I blame him. I was not raped by
him. I just can’t bring myself to fabricate a rape tale. I raped the gentleman if it’s rape. My misfortune
made me chuckle. First, I became separated from Javier and ended up sleeping with my soon-to-be
father. I can’t even call that man “daddy.” I called him “daddy” all night. Should I preserve my face and
tell my mum that I can’t guarantee I won’t sleep with this guy again if he remains in the house? I know
well that I’m a sex wuss. There’s no denying it.
Sandra retired to her room and fell asleep.
Gabriella’s POV
“Oh my God, my sister’s wedding is coming up!” Chloe approached me and threw her arms over my
shoulders. “Even though you didn’t tell me, I knew he was the one you’d been waiting for all these
years. I knew from the time you moved in with him that Javier would not let you down. She put her
hands on my face and cupped them. “Gabby, we did it. We are married, orphans or not, although we do
not know our parents. God was kind to us.” I gave her a warm embrace and grinned. I’ll be very
delighted if my only sister approved Javier. I looked around for Alex. He was holding his young child Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
and was with Javier. “Do you think he’ll ever put her down?”
“He doesn’t even give me a chance, nope. He adores his daughter.”
Every woman desires to marry. A beautifully landscaped garden with hand-picked roses is located at
the end of each sitting aisle. A bridal gown in white with laced flowery pumps. Her hairstyle and make-
up were flawless. With the support of Grandma Felicia and Chloe, I was able to do this. They worked
hard to make my wedding the best it could be.
“Are you all set?” From behind the door, Alex cried out to me. I offered Chloe’s hand in marriage when
Alex married her, and now Alex wants to do the same for me. He wanted to offer me my hand in
marriage. It was my turn. I grinned as I glanced in the mirror one more time. I was confident, and
because of Chloe’s make-up, I looked like a doll. I’ve never felt or looked this gorgeous in my whole
life. I inhaled deeply and moved my gaze to the door. I pushed through the door and turned to face
Alex. He knelt and put his hands on his chest. “Mrs. Hills, you look fantastic.”
I blushed as I responded, “Thank you.”
“Are you all set?”
I offered him a friendly nod. This is the day I’ve been looking forward to since Javier proposed to me.
It’s hard for me to comprehend that the day has actually arrived. I’m looking forward to marrying Javier.
Alex encircled our elbows with his arms. My heart began racing a mile a minute as I noticed everyone’s
eyes on me as we turned to the route going to the aisle, staring at my soon-to-be husband. As I came
down the aisle, all eyes would be on me, and that alone made me uneasy.
Alex burst out laughing. When I married Chloe, I was just as anxious as you were. “I’m sure you’ll be
OK.” He reassured me that “Take a deep breath and turn to face the guy who will become your
husband. Concentrate only on him. It won’t be long until you realize it’s just the two of you. Nobody else
is important.” I followed Alex’s advice and focused my gaze on Javier. My kid was waving at me and
saying at the top of his lungs, “You look like a princess, mum!” I was about to cry, but I didn’t want to
squander Chloe’s efforts. Photographs were being taken by the home staff. I smiled at the visitors
before returning my gaze to the road ahead. I got a little too near this time. Javier Hills, my future
husband, my first and last, was plainly visible to me. The love of my life The guy I’m going to spend the
rest of my life with His entrancing ocean-blue gaze never strayed from mine. He had a big grin on his
face. I could see he was anxious as well. Everything appears to be getting a bit better, and my
anxiousness is slowly dissipating. To me, all the visitors got hazy at the same time. Javier was the only
thing I could see. My heart, my love, was in his hands. He’s grinning at me. I returned the grin. While
staring at me, I saw a tear escaping his eye. Suddenly, images of the first day we met flashed through
my mind. Reminding me of how mesmerized I was by him, how everything appeared to fall into place,
and, lastly, how I waited for this guy, even without realizing it. This guy, who makes me need his touch.
Who knows where to touch me. Who is never selfish and always respects my emotions, this man, who
will soon learn we are expecting our second child after this wedding. I chose to tell him I was pregnant
on our wedding day when I found out. Through thick and thin, I shall adore this guy for the rest of my
life.
“Good luck, sis,” Alex embraced me as we walked down the aisle. I grinned and rubbed the corner of
my eye with my finger to keep tears from spilling. Alex grinned as he put my hand on Javier’s. “Take
good care of her. She’s precious,” he continued as he shifted his look to Javier. He stated this as he
walked over to sit next to Chloe and Mia, my goddaughter. With grins on our faces, Javier and I
exchanged glances, neither of us saying anything. We shifted our gaze to the priest.
He motioned for our visitors to take their seats by looking ahead. The priest grinned as he gazed down
at us.
“We have met here today, friends and family, to witness the marriage of Javier Marcellus Hills and
Gabriella Parker. As we see this union, we also witness the formation of a new tie and a new family,
one that will definitely encompass all of those here.” As the priest spoke about our obligations as a
couple, I stood there with Javier, holding hands. I felt a bit overwhelmed as I listened to the priest, and
Javier did as well. He calmed me down by squeezing my hands, and it worked.
We turned to face each other when it was time to exchange vows. We used the customary vows. “Do
you Javier Marcellus Hills, accept Gabriella Parker to be your legally married wife. Pledging to love and
cherish her through joy and sorrow, illness and health, and whatever trials you may encounter, for as
long as you both live?
“I do,” Javier said without hesitation.
He turned to face me and said the same thing again. “Do you Gabriella Parker. Accept Javier Marcellus
Hills to be your legally married spouse. Pledging to love and cherish him through joy and sorrow, illness
and health, and whatever trials you may encounter, for as long as you both live?
“I do,” I grinned as I glanced at Javier, my soul.
Xander, my son, brought the rings for us to exchange. Javier took my hands and said, “I Javier
Marcellus Hills present you Gabriella Parker. I Chuckled Now Hills this ring as an enduring sign of my
love and dedication to you,” and then he murmured, “I love you, Mrs. Hills.” My face transformed like a
tomato owing to Chloe’s make-up. I was simply aware of the heat. No one seemed to notice. As he
pressed the ring on my little finger, shivers ran through my whole body. He kissed my hand after that.
Xander approached me and presented the ring to me. Javier did the same thing I did and reached his
hand out. The guy was impatient for me to put the ring on his finger. His hand was twirling around. I
wanted to tease him, but I realized that there were other people there. I grabbed his hand in mine and
gently pressed my finger on the tip of his ring finger. Gabriella Parker presents this ring to Javier
Marcellus Hills as an eternal symbol of her love and commitment to him.
The priest smiled at us and then addressed the guests, saying, “If anybody has an objection to the
marriage, speak now or forever remain silent.”
My heart began to beat quite quickly at that point. I used what power I had left to survey the
surroundings. Sandra, the drama queen, is the single person who has the power to ruin everything for
me. Then,
Phew!
“I thus declare you husband and wife, using the authority bestowed upon me by the heavenly spirit and
the state of New York City. You may now kiss the bride. “
Javier had been anticipating this moment. He grabbed my lips right away. I attempted to push him
away, reminding him that the guests were looking, but he was chomping on my lips right in front of
them. We broke the kiss after a time. My cheeks were flushed. My discomfort was not reflected in my
make-up.
“Do you think it’s too hot, Mrs. Hills?” He inquired. I attempted to speak, but he grabbed my lips again
in front of the throng and carried me in a bridal manner.
