Jackson’s how furrowed as soon as he heard the news. He took the phone from Connor and played the video, liis eyes cold.

“Make sure to keep an eye on her!” Jackson hastily ordered and ended the call. Then, he sped up and rushed home.

When he arrived at Valor Residence, he dashed out of the car and ran to Serenity’s room, startling the servants around.

The servants had never seen Mr. Valor in such a hurry! He seemed worried about something, but what could possibly worry Mr. Valor, the most powerful man in Solaria?

Elliot was standing in front of Serenity’s room, guarding her. When he saw Jackson, he reported, “Sir, Ms. Lewis is in her room. I knocked, but she wouldn’t open the door. The door was locked from the inside.”
