Celeste gave Trisha a heads-up and then gave her personal information to Mason.

“Trisha?” Mason was surprised. “You and your friend have the same last name?”

Celeste laughed awkwardly. “Yeah, we do.”

Mason smiled gently. “That’s quite a coincidence.”

Celeste was already getting a bit restless.

“Ms. Colton, you don’t have any other plans later, right?”

Mason looked up and asked.

“Will it take long?”

“Not really. Mason couldn’t help but smile. “I was just wondering if I could invite you to have a meal together?”

Celeste actually just wanted to get this matter sorted out and leave as soon as possible, but since he had already mentioned having lunch together, she couldn’t say no to him easily.

“Sure, but I’ll treat you. You’ve been busy helping me all morning, and you helped me last time too. I should be the one treating you as a thank you.”

Mason didn’t refuse and asked her with a smile, “What would you like to eat?”

“I’m treating you, so it’s up to you. I’m not picky, anything is fine.”

Mason thought for a moment and said, “Let’s go eat some local specialty dishes from J City then.”

“Sounds good.”

Mason was a decisive person, probably due to his profession. After Celeste gave up choosing a restaurant, he quickly came up with a new plan and put it into action.

The two of them walked to the restaurant after leaving the coffee shop.

The restaurant Mason wanted to take her to was near the University Town, just a street away.

It was difficult to park there, so they walked.

Celeste was very familiar with the area. Both she and Liam graduated from T University, but Liam was in the North Campus while she was in the South Campus, just near the food court.

During her school days, the small restaurants around the campus make her quite happy – cheap and delicious food.

They studied art and acting, which had strict requirements for their physical appearance. She was a foodie and often asked Trisha to come out for a late-night snack. After a year, she lost two pounds,

while Trisha gained more than ten.

Trisha thought that Celeste was one of those people who can’t gain weight, but in reality, although she eats all the time, because her morning classes teachers would weigh her every morning, and the teacher would make her train extra hard when she gain weight. So every time she would swore to the teacher she wouldn’t eat again, but as soon as she lost some weight, she shamelessly asked Trisha to go out for food again.

Looking back, her college days were the most relaxed and beautiful time of her life, full of hope and dreams for the future.
