Chapter 2181
Chapter 2181
Freya stood still with an unpleasantly cold face. She looked serious and unrelenting. Showing no signs of respect, she then answered, "No. I'm her senior."
Lucas playfully raised his eyebrow and spread out his hands. "Oh there's no need for you to be like that."
"Technically speaking, I am Arianna's aunt. Didn't anyone teach you how to speak to your elders?"
"Oh, yeah?" Lucas wasn't backing down either. Instead, he took another step forward. He suddenly became flirty. "How about we find some time alone and work on that together?"
"What do you think you are doing?!"
Before she could reply, someone suddenly rushed over and pushed Lucas away.
Unable to avoid that person in time, Lucas swerved his body and bumped into the table next to him. The table and chairs crashed together, creating a lot of noise in the restaurant. Luckily his men caught him in time and brought him back up on his feet.
I had broken out into a cold sweat and noticed the man who was being encircled by the other men.
It was Cyril Zimmer.
His outfit, however, looked very odd. He was in a white suit, had a red bow tie on his collar, pink lips and white teeth. He looked like he had make-up on. He looked like he had walked straight out of a fairytale story.
He also had a boutonniere pinned onto his chest.
What the... Was he getting married?
"Sh*t, where did you come from you b*stard? How dare you touch me?" Lucas was so angry that his chest was heaving dramatically and his dark eyes were wide open.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
The men standing next to him were itching to start a fight. How dare this guy talk to their boss with that tone? They were ready to break all of his bones.
This caused quite a stir at the restaurant. The waiter rushed to notify the restaurant manager.
Cyril didn't know who Lucas was. However, with the way he was dressed, he was behaving arrogantly and spoke sarcastically. "You're not welcome here in Zuckerberg. I'm warning you. You'd better leave our women alone, otherwise, you'll have to bear the consequences, and I don't think you're up for a challenge like that."
"Excuse me, did I hear you right?" Lucas responded as though he had heard a joke. He pointed at himself and said, "You were the one who hit me and yet you're telling me to back off? Hahaha, that's really funny."
Lucas' smile faded as his sentence trailed off. He then swung a punch at Cyril's face.
Cyril wasn't a pushover. His face tightened and he was about to fight back.
"No! Stop! Stop!"
Luckily, several security guards arrived with the manager and pulled the two men apart. They came just in time to prevent a full on fight.
"Please, calm down, ok?" The manager was trying his best to comfort Lucas. "This isn't the place for a fight. You'll have to take your business elsewhere."
The manager had hastily decided to kick Lucas out without first understanding what had happened. It was obvious that he was being biased towards him and took Cyril's side.
Cyril felt fearless. He shook off the
security guards and patted his clothes down calmly. He placed his hands into his pockets and looked at Lucas provocatively. He had a look that seemed to say, "What can you even do to me?"
Lucas grabbed the manager by the collar in anger, pulled him upwards, and shouted, "He hit me and you are telling me to leave? Are you kidding me?"
He was so furious that the layers of flesh on his face trembled fiercely as he spoke. It looked ferocious and horrifying.
"Please calm down, sir. If you keep acting like this... We will have to call the police!" This wasn't the
manager's first time dealing with et
this kind of situation. This was hy he sounded firm and seemed to already know what to do.
"I'll smash your head in first. Let's see you call the police then!" Lucas' face was very close to the manager's. They could hear each other's breathing. The manager dared not open his eyes.
Maybe it was because I've been spending too much time with the kids. Because this entire scene was supposed to be thrilling, but it seemed to be a comedy to me instead.
While I was lost in my thoughts, Lucas slapped the manager on the face.
I snapped out of it when I heard the crisp sound of the slap. "Lucas! That's enough!"
"Stay out of this, Arianna. This is my personal matter!"
After his perfunctory remark, he was
about to continue slapping the manager while his men were already fighting with the security guards These two groups of people immediately turned this intoa
e
confrontation.
Seeing the entire restaurant alarmed by their actions, I blurted out, "Lucas, the police will definitely be involved in this!" "This is the city center. The police are on patrol at all times. They'll be here in ten minutes. You'd better think about this!"
Lucas froze. He smacked his lips in dissatisfaction and loosened his grip, tossing the manager onto the floor.
"You! I'll remember you!" Lucas pointed two fingers at his own eyes and back at the manager.
Looking at one of his men standing behind a security guard, he scolded, "What are you waiting for? The police?!"
They then quickly left.
The entire restaurant held their breath until all those men had disappeared from sight. One of the customers whispered to their friend, "Where did those foreigners even come from?"
