Chapter 325
Chapter 325
“Uncle Oliver,” Sadie called out.
Oliver responded with a faint hum and casually said, “Go have fun by yourself.”
He headed straight to his study, turned on his computer, and searched for news related to Bradley and
Esther.
Oliver made a call. “It’s me. Find Jasper Searle’s phone number for me.”
A minute later, Oliver received Jasper’s mobile number and dialed it, but Jasper’s phone. remained
unreachable.
Oliver made another call. “It’s me. Arrange a flight for me immediately.”
There were numerous news articles and stories about Esther online some true, some false, and some
a mix of both. Oliver also discovered that Faye had entrusted Esther to a man named Billy Anstey.
What surprised him was why Faye hadn’t sent Esther back to the Quills. Instead, she had entrusted her
to a man unrelated to the Quills.
Oliver knew he would have to wait until he met Billy to uncover the truth.
Bradley stayed in the area where Esther had jumped into the sea. This was also the spot where Felix
had fallen.
The rescue team held little hope for a successful rescue, but no one dared to remind Bradley of
this fact.
Some of the rescue members privately criticized Bradley for his “atrocities.” He hadn’t appreciated
Esther when she was alive and only regretted it now that she was gone. Why hadn’t he acted sooner? Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
There was no remedy for regret in this world.
Liam was also consumed by regret. He had always been under the impression that Liliane was the one
who had helped him and had been treating her as best he could. It wasn’t until Jasper revealed her true
nature that Liam realized how ungrateful he had been.
Liam no longer cared about his future in the entertainment industry-all he wanted was to find Esther in
the vast sea and have a chance to apologize to her.
After Jasper left the scene of the incident, he began making preparations for Esther’s funeral.
Bradley had ordered Kevin to keep an eye on Jasper. Unable to resist his curiosity, Kevin approached
Jasper while he was preparing for the funeral.
“Do you need something?” Jasper asked.
Kevin took a deep breath and asked nervously, “Is Esther really dead?”
“Kevin, do you also think, like Bradley, that I’ve hidden her?” Jasper’s expression was cold, with a hint
of mockery in his eyes. “If you don’t believe it, you can follow me 24/7. See If 1 contact Esther.”
Worry filled Kevin. “Jasper, I just want to know if something really happened to Esther. Rest
assured, even if you have hidden Esther, I won’t tell Bradley.”
“Kevin, your belated affection is cheap, and your treatment of Esther was despicable.” Jasper finished
speaking and removed the SIM card from his soaked phone to insert it into a new one.
