My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 317

Chapter 317

Jasper sensed that Esther was contemplating death because of what had happened to Felix, so he

gently comforted her. “Esther, you haven’t found Pixie yet. If you die, there will be no one in this world

who truly loves her. Only by staying alive can we keep hope alive.”

“It’s not a real death. It’s pretending to die in front of everyone. After I fake my death, I want to go

abroad to find Pixie.”

Esther no longer wanted to be entangled with Bradley. If their relationship was destined to fail, it should

be ended promptly. Her youthful infatuation couldn’t withstand the harsh reality.

All she wanted now was to be far away from Bradley… far enough that he could never enter her life

again.

“So, you mean you want to stage your death and go abroad?” Jasper pondered carefully, considering

the feasibility of Esther’s plan. “Esther, I understand what you’re feeling, but you need to know that

running away won’t solve the problems. Even if you escape from Bradley’s influence now, do you plan

to hide from him for the rest of your life? Eventually, he will find you again.”

Esther stared deeply outside the car window, her voice trembling as she spoke. “Jasper, I’ve lost

Tinkerbell and Felix. I can’t lose Pixie too. I have to find her myself.”

She felt like an incompetent mother. Losing three children consecutively was unbearable. She was

afraid she couldn’t bear it and was even afraid she might want to kill Bradley and go down with him

because of it.

“In that case, if you truly want to die, you might as well do it tonight,” Jasper said as he drove. “Esther,

choose the area in the sea where Felix had his accident. Jump into the water, and I’ll make sure the

rescue team saves you in time. Your identity as Esther will completely disappear. What do you think?”

Time was running out, and Esther couldn’t think of a better plan to fake her death. Without hesitation,

she accepted Jasper’s proposal. “Okay, let’s do it as you said.”

After agreeing, she expressed concern to Jasper. “What if Bradley blames you after I’m gone? What if

he comes after the Searles?”

Jasper shrugged nonchalantly. “Esther, you know how the Searles treat me. If it weren’t for the fact that

all the other heirs of the Searles are dead, that old man wouldn’t even

acknowledge my existence. If Bradley destroys the Searles, I’ll consider it a favor, a solution to a big

problem for me.”

“Jasper…” Esther felt deeply touched.

After the events five years ago, Esther didn’t have many friends around her. Jasper was the only friend

willing to do anything to help her, and she cherished their friendship.

“Let’s not dwell on it now. We need to act quickly,” Jasper said, glancing at Esther with a gentle

expression. “We can talk about gratitude after you fake your death.”

Jasper drove straight to the pier. Esther changed into a dress on the cruise ship and applied careful

and stunning makeup.

“Esther, look at how much attention you’re getting on social media. Start a live stream directly later.”

Esther understood Jasper’s intention immediately. She hesitated momentarily and asked, Will Bradley

be able to trace my location through the IP address if I start a live stream?”

“He will!” Jasper said firmly. “That’s why your live stream must last precisely three to five minutes. Once

Bradley realizes it, you won’t be able to die.”

“Understood.”

As Esther leaned against the railing, the sea breeze gently brushed through her long hair as she gazed

at the distant sea. For some reason, she felt a faint reluctance. It might have been reluctance toward

her current identity or the desperate struggle of the secret crush that had enchanted her throughout her

youth, influencing her emotions.

Jasper didn’t disturb Esther but kept a close eye on her online popularity.
