My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 285

Chapter 285

Billy was left with nothing. His wife had never cared about him, and the daughter he had been raising

was someone else’s. Even the business and assets his parents had worked hard to build had been

foolishly. given away as a wedding gift to Liliane.

The lawyers believed that Billy could reclaim everything given to Liliane through legal means, but there

was a complication. Liliane was currently a patient with a heart condition, and any slight provocation

could be fatal for her. Moreover, Billy knew that a legal battle would be a tangled mess with many

variables.

However, when Bradley threatened Esther, Billy’s long-lost paternal heart suddenly reawakened.

“Esther, don’t worry about me. We live in a lawful society now. He won’t dare to do anything to me!”

Billy felt pathetic. He couldn’t even leave with Esther. No wonder Leah repeatedly called him useless-

he truly was trash.

“Esther, do you dare to bet on it?”

Esther had run fast, causing her tied-up hair to come loose and hang down. The dark strands stuck to

her sweaty face, making her look even more delicate and fair.

She stood at the edge of a steep cliff with a sheer drop behind her. Now that she genuinely wanted to

break free, she could easily jump off the cliff in front of Bradley.

“Bradley, our affairs have nothing to do with him!”

Bradley slightly pressed the trigger, a cold chill flashing across his handsome face.

“Esther, whether it has anything to do with him or not is for me to decide!”

Esther took a deep breath, concealing all her true emotions, and slowly approached Bradley. She

reached. out and held Bradley’s wrist, forcing the gun’s muzzle in his hand to aim at her own forehead.

“Bradley, don’t you hate me?” Esther smiled faintly, challenging Bradley with her gaze. “Haven’t you

always wanted me to die as an apology?”

Veins bulged on Bradley’s forehead, and his clenched jaw showed how much he was holding back at

that

moment.

Kevin, anxious, shouted angrily, “Esther, can you please shut up for a moment?”

Esther looked at Kevin coldly, speaking in a detached tone. “Kevin, I have very few moments of regret

in my life, but looking at your face now, I regret it. When I discovered that you had fallen into the water

back then, I should have turned a blind eye.”

Kevin raised an eyebrow, his tone unfriendly. “What do you mean by that?”

“Don’t you understand? It was me who asked Bradley to save you back then. Without me, you would

be buried six feet under by now!”

Kevin looked at Esther in disbelief, anxiously questioning, “Esther, what tricks are you trying to play

now?”

“Bradley, tell Kevin. Tell him who informed you that he was drowning back then!”

Bradley had no qualms hiding petty truths like this and stated flatly, “She was the one who informed

me,

Kevin.”

Kevin looked at Esther in shock. She… was actually his savior?

Esther looked at Kevin’s handsome face with Indifference and spoke calmly. “Kevin, I didn’t personally

save you, but I found Bradley to save you. Strictly speaking, I’m at least your lifesaver. Think back on

how you’ve treated me all these years!”

Esther knew very well why Kevin listened to Bradley unquestioningly. It was because, to Kevin, Bradley

had given him a second chance at life.

In the past, she had loved Bradley and believed that love was everything. After being hurt so badly in

love, she finally realized that when she valued love more than life itself, she became a humble,

unremarkable, and dim star. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

“I didn’t know… I didn’t know it was you who first found me back then.”
