My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 273

Chapter 273

Kevin looked at Esther and Bradley with a confused and worried expression on his handsome face. He

spoke gently. “Bradley, you should talk to her nicely.”

Kevin didn’t want to interfere too much in the matter between Bradley and Esther. He gave Esther a

look and slowly walked away, leaving the two of them alone.

The night was dark and cool, resembling the calmness of the water. In the distance, the sea shimmered

as the rescue team continued their search for Felix.

Esther’s beautiful face, resembling porcelain, was concealed in the darkness, while Bradley’s gaze held

a hint of aggression.

Esther would have been hurt and taken a step back in the past, but now, she calmly looked at Bradley

and flatly said, “Mr. Warner, I believe I don’t need to remind you that we’ve already signed the divorce

papers.”

Esther suddenly smiled and took a step forward, grabbing Bradley’s collar. She brought her red lips

close to his handsome face and sneered. “Or have you just realized you’ve fallen in love with me, Mr.

Warner?”

“How could I ever fall in love with a shameless woman like you?!” Bradley retorted coldly, his teeth

gritted. “Even if all the women in the world were dead, I still wouldn’t fall in love with you.”

Esther knew very well that Bradley didn’t possess a heart capable of being moved or falling in love with

her. Despite that, a faint hint of sadness appeared in her eyes upon hearing his words.

“Is it because you suddenly developed a conscience and realized that sending the woman who carried

your child to prison for five years was cruel, and now you want to make it up to me?”

Bradley reached out and grasped Esther’s face, his grip tightening. He growled resentfully, ” Esther,

you went to prison because you disconnected my grandfather’s oxygen mask!”

“Hah!” Esther mockingly laughed. “Bradley, you not only lack a conscience but also lack intelligence.

How did I blind myself and fall in love with you back then?”

Bradley’s grip tightened further, but Esther fearlessly met his aggressive gaze, her smile shining even

brighter.

Bradley’s composed heart suddenly panicked.

He leaned closer to Esther’s ear, his voice chilling and terrifying. “Esther, it was you who begged my

grandfather to let you marry me back then. Let me tell you, divorce is out of the question! In my world,

there’s only widowhood, not divorce!”

“Bradley, do you hate me? Do you hate me to the point of wanting to kill me? Then why not just give

me a gentle push, and I’ll disappear from your world forever, never to bother you again.”

Esther closed her eyes silently, offering no resistance as if she were a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

Bradley rubbed her fair face, then let go as if disgusted, and moved away. Instead, he grabbed

her slender neck, his captivating eyes gleaming wickedly.

“Why? Can’t bring yourself to do it?”

But the act of violence Esther anticipated from Bradley never came.

When she opened her wet eyes, the small red mole at the corner of her eye had a seductive charm

under the night sky.

“Mr. Warner, you don’t want to divorce me? And you don’t want to kill me? Could it be ”

Before Esther could finish her sentence, Bradley fiercely embraced her, ignoring her struggles, and

forcefully carried her back to the presidential suite on the ship.

“Bradley, what… What do you want to do?”

Fear filled Esther’s eyes.

With his arms crossed, Bradley looked at Esther, who appeared frightened, and a wicked and sinister

thought rose in his mind.
