My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 265

Chapter 265

Bradley signaled with his eyes, and Kevin tied Ben up with a rope. Kevin even used adhesive tape to

cover the boy’s mouth to make it more realistic.

Ben cooperated throughout, showing no signs of frustration or unease.

Kevin patted the boy’s shoulder and spoke gently. “Don’t be afraid.”

They weren’t Shane. They couldn’t bring themselves to harm innocent people. Moreover, Kevin was a

doctor and understood the value of life. He was only using the boy to intimidate Shane and had no

intention of actually harming him.

Kevin pushed Ben to the front of the ship, where a cruise ship appeared in the distance on the endless

sea. Jessica, beside Shane, immediately spotted her son and couldn’t help but confront Shane, her

heart twisting in agony. “Shane, no matter what happens later, you must protect our son. If you dare…”

Shane looked toward his son in the distance with a squint, feeling a slight clench in his heart. He had

been involved in numerous heinous acts, always treating other people’s lives as worthless. However, it

was only when it came to his own son that he realized he had vulnerabilities too.

Unlike his daughter, Liliane, Shane had been involved in Ben’s upbringing and growth, and he took

pride in having such a son. If he had to choose between Liliane and Ben, he would undoubtedly choose

the latter.

The cruise ship drew closer, and Shane could see his son clearly. His hands and feet were bound, and

his mouth was taped shut, making him look like a helpless victim waiting to be slaughtered.

Shane and his wife boarded a boat to go on the ship.

“Stop!” Clark shouted coldly.

Shane, fearing the consequences, obediently stopped and stood silently to the side. He looked at

Bradley, who was sitting in a chair, and said, “Mr. Warner, you can bring anything up to me. Please

don’t trouble my son!” All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Jessica also pleaded, “Mr. Warner, this is an affair among adults. It has nothing to do with our child!”

Kevin kicked the two severely weakened kidnappers, and the latter suddenly regained some spirit.

They no longer sought survival and only hoped that Bradley would give them a quick and painless

death.

“Mrs. Hoyer, you may not be aware of what this man by your side has done,” one of the kidnappers

said coldly, looking at both Shane and Jessica. “Shane instructed us to kidnap Mr. Warner’s wife and

son!”

Shane’s eyes flashed with a fierce glare through his glasses, and he gritted his teeth. “I’ve never

instructed you to do anything!”

Shane couldn’t possibly admit to such heinous acts in front of his son. He didn’t want to shatter the

image Ben had of him.

The kidnapper sneered. “Mr. Hoyer, don’t be so quick to deny. We have evidence.”

“Shane, did you do it or not? Admit it if you did…” Jessica was anxious and at a loss. Looking at her

son, who was being mistreated, she wished she was the one being restrained instead. Don’t wager our

son’s life!”

Shane growled, “Shut up!”

He couldn’t admit it. If he did, all three of them would die!

“Mr. Hoyer, we have cloud backup recordings of each time you asked us to do something. The prison

walls say that confess and receive leniency, resist and face strict punishment. I believe you’re familiar

with it.”

Shane could clearly hear the kidnapper’s threat, but he didn’t expect these two to have evidence.

Everyone present was intelligent enough to see through the pretense.
