My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 193

Bradley had entrusted all the wedding arrangements to the wedding planning company. Initially, the

company had been worried about the possibility of receiving a lawyer’s letter from the legal department

of the Warner Group due to the leaked wedding details.

However, now that they had received Bradley’s delegation, they breathed a sigh of relief and

guaranteed that no similar leaks would occur.

Upon Bradley’s return to Primus Mansion from the hospital, he found Felix already bathed and reading

a picture book with Esther.

“Daddy!” Felix exclaimed as he spotted Bradley rushing toward him with outstretched arms, wanting to

be carried.

Reluctantly, Bradley lifted Felix up, his demeanor cold and distant as he addressed Esther, Since your

foot is injured, you should sleep alone tonight. I’ll take Felix to rest.”

Felix pouted and used his sweet voice to plead, “Daddy, I want to sleep with you and Mommy tonight

too.”

“No,” Bradley flatly refused.

Felix looked at Esther with a huff and softly pleaded, “Mommy.”

Esther, always soft-hearted, especially when Felix acted cute, couldn’t help but want to give him the

best of everything in the world.

“Why don’t-”

Bradley held Felix tightly and spoke firmly. “A doting mother spoils her son, understand? Felix, go to

bed with Daddy.”

Bradley carried Felix back to the boy’s room, where Felix stubbornly pulled the blanket over himself,

covering his entire body. He peeked out with his fuzzy little head and obediently said, “Daddy, I can

sleep by myself. You go take care of Mommy!”

“Felix…” Bradley’s tall figure enveloped Felix’s small body, providing him with an endless sense of

security.

Bradley felt somewhat uncomfortable when he thought that Felix might not be his biological child. But

he calmed his mind, gently caressed Felix’s little face, and reminded himself that even though Felix

might not be his biological son, Pixie was his biological daughter. When he found Pixie, he would raise

Felix as a son-in-law. The boy would have the best of both worlds as both a foster son and a son-in-

law.

“Daddy,” Felix innocently responded with a sweet voice.

Bradley slightly parted his lips to ask, “Do you really like Esther?”

“Daddy, she’s Mommy!” Felix spoke honestly, and Bradley’s expression softened, radiating warmth.

He gently tucked Felix’s blanket and said, “Sleep well.”

“Good night, Daddy.”

Accustomed to sleeping alone, Felix closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.

After Bradley freshened up, he settled into a guest room for the night.

As a couple, Bradley and Esther accompanied Felix to kindergarten the next day.

Considering Esther’s injured ankle, although it didn’t hinder her ability to walk, it was still best for her to

rest and recover.

“Darling, where are you taking me?” Esther asked while sitting in the car, observing Bradley engrossed

in his work, his gaze fixed on official matters displayed on the tablet.

“You’ll find out when we arrive,” he replied.

Half an hour later, the car stopped at the entrance of an exhibition hall.

Esther stepped out of the car, her eyes fixed on the artistic vibe emanating from the exhibition hall. She

instinctively glanced at Bradley beside her.

“Mr. and Mrs. Warner, good morning. Our designer, Anna, is waiting for you in the exhibition hall.”

Bradley walked up to Esther and extended his hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. They walked in Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

synchronized, elegant strides, leisurely entering the exhibition hall.
