Upon hearing Bradley’s questioning words, Billy’s expression turned cold, and he trembled with anger

as he retorted, “Bradley Warner, don’t think that your charms can sway between Liliane and Esther. It’s

just that they are foolish to be attracted to your appearance.

“Don’t feel too proud. You better pray that you never have a daughter. Your womanizing ways will one

day be retribution upon your own daughter.”

Bradley chuckled instead of getting angry, reaching out to throw a photo into Billy’s arms. Open your

eyes and take a good look. How much resemblance is there between Liliane and you?

In the photo, Liliane stood in a pure white wedding gown, a delicate and beautiful flower. Standing

beside her was Shane, also dressed formally, with their facial features showing a high degree of similarity.

“Bradley, what benefit do you gain from deliberately sowing discord? Did Esther tell you these things?”

Clark found a reasonable explanation for everything that had happened to Esther recently, knowing

that Billy was not Esther’s biological father.

“Mr. Anstey, all of this has nothing to do with Esther. It was Shane who orchestrated the kidnapping of

Esther and Felix to prevent Esther from appearing at the wedding. The kidnappers claimed that it was

Shane who instructed them to kidnap Esther.

“Mr. Anstey, what kind of relationship do you think it takes for Shane to risk ruining his reputation to

kidnap Esther? How much do you think Shane truly loves Liliane for him to repeatedly target Esther’s

heart?

“According to my investigation, Shane and Leah were a couple during their school days. Only after

Shane went abroad for further studies did you get together with Leah! Also, think about why you had

diarrhea today. Was it really just an accident?”

Clark sent the information he had investigated to Billy’s phone, urging him to take a look.

Billy, though skeptical, was shocked when he saw the investigation data. He discovered that he had

been deceived.

Kevin glanced sympathetically at Billy, feeling that the man was incredibly unlucky. None of his

daughters were his own.

“Mr. Anstey, it’s simple to find out whether Liliane is your biological daughter. Just do a DNA paternity

test!”

Bradley gripped Esther’s wrist and briskly marched toward Liliane’s ward. With his towering height, he

covered the distance quickly while Esther stumbled along, barely keeping up.

Upon reaching the ward, Bradley forcefully kicked open the door to Liliane’s room, startling the medical

staff inside.

Liliane’s condition was not optimistic. Her pre–existing heart condition had worsened, and the societal

rejection added to her struggles. She lay on the hospital bed, relying on oxygen to breathe. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
